Instructors at DEA Training Academy Accused of Racial Discrimination

Instructors at the DEA’s Training Academy have come under scrutiny following a rash of recent complaints about racial discrimination,
In one case, an instructor is accused of calling a Black recruit a “monkey” and taunting others by making “monkey noises” on a loud speaker at the firing range.
“We were like, ‘It’s 2019. That shouldn’t even be a thing that we’re dealing with,'” Derek Moise, a white trainee, said. “Everybody knows what those sounds and noises stand for.”
The complaints come as the DEA struggles to diversify its ranks.

Michael Hasting’s expose on John Brennan ended here. (NY Daily News)
The very last op-ed progressive journalist Michael Hastings wrote for BuzzFeed was titled, “Why Democrats Love to Spy on Americans.” Ten days later, on June 17, 2013, Hastings emailed his BuzzFeed associates warning them, “The Feds are interviewing my ‘close friends and associates.’ ” He added that he was “onto a big story” and had to go “off the rada[r] for a bit … hope to see you all soon.”
Hastings did not get to see those associates soon or otherwise. In the early morning hours of June 18, his leased Mercedes crashed into a palm tree at high speeds in a residential Los Angeles neighborhood. The car burst into flames upon impact, and Hastings’s body was burned beyond recognition.

Malcolm Blunt’s encyclopedic knowledge of the inner workings of the CIA during the era of the Cold War is unrivaled. He is the Rosetta Stone for coded intelligence agency cables. Alan Dale’s discussions with Blunt offer an astonishing range of depth and details essential to anyone with an interest in understanding President Kennedy's murder and the hidden machinations of U.S. spy bureaucracies.

Malcolm Blunt's brilliant work in the deep caves of the National Archives has opened up new perspectives on the Kennedy case for other researchers. Alan Dale's deft questioning of him in this book will help others to emulate his achievements.

Malcolm Blunt, an English psychiatric support manager turned forensic analyst, taught me a crucial art: how to understand the flow of information inside the CIA. I thought I understood something of the subject, but Blunt took me to a new level of insight. Alan Dale's fascinating interviews evoke Blunt's ingenious methodology and his wry humor. For anyone who wants to gain a granular understanding of the CIA's paper flow in the 1950s and 1960s, Dale's aptly-named volume, The Devil is in the Details, is essential.

Have you ever wanted to be a fly on the wall listening-in on a conversation between two incredibly intelligent, informed and knowledgeable people as they discuss the CIA, the national security state during the Cold War, how the National Archives, maintains and hides records and documents, how the government hides and keeps its secrets, and the Kennedy assassination? Here’s your chance. Don't miss it.

The most penetrating, influential interviews present not as interrogations, but as dialogues between a deeply informed questioner and a topically masterful subject. Success may be measured in direct proportion to the trust and respect that develop to bridge the gap, so to speak – qualities delivered in abundance by Alan Dale and Malcolm Blunt throughout these historic exchanges. The comparison is inevitable and irresistible: it is as if George Smiley has materialized in twin form, intelligence gatherer and analyst at the top of their games. The light they shed on the JFK assassination and associated operations is unlike any illumination you have yet to experience.
Charles R. Drago, co-founder of the original JFK Truth and Amnesty Commission (1997), author of the Introduction to George Michael Evica’s “A Certain Arrogance” (2011) and Afterword to H.P. Albarelli, Jr.’s “Coup in Dallas” (2020)

The devil is in the details -- also the light of truth. For nearly three decades, Malcolm Blunt has been digging through stacks of U.S. government documents and illuminating their meaning. It took an English citizen, working in his spare time and sidetracking his holidays, to burrow deeply into the hidden and hiding-in-plain-sight facts of the John F. Kennedy assassination -- the most earth-shaking American crime of the 20th Century. Countless Kennedy scholars, authors and independent researchers have come to depend on Blunt for eye-popping discoveries that previously eluded them. I count myself among this crowd. An envelope from England stuffed with photocopies from the always generous and highly credible Blunt would make my day as I was researching my books.

Alan Dale describes how Malcolm fully immersed himself in the dark waters surrounding the JFK case. He emerges fully radiant and filled with light. We need two, three, many Malcolms!

Malcolm Blunt is the best there is!
I have studied the JFK assassination since the 1960’s and have had the opportunity to get to know several high-quality researchers. Many of them were specialists in one particular aspect of the assassination. Malcolm has an outstanding knowledge that extends to all aspects of this
complicated historic event. I first had the pleasure of meeting Malcolm in November 1998 as I was about to go onstage for my presentation at the JFK symposium in Dallas. About 6 months later I saw him again in the lobby of the National Archives building in College Park, Maryland. From that point on we became the best of friends and inseparable as we spent hundreds of hours studying documents, every possible moment that the archives were open. Additionally, we shared accommodations and spent a great amount of time talking about the treasured discoveries we found in the documents. Malcolm is not only a remarkable researcher; he is also a very generous and loving man who has treated my family and I as part of his own. I cannot even begin to express my thanks to this extraordinary man for mentoring me for all these years, as I have learned so much from Malcolm.

With Love,

It is the mission of the Assassination Archives and Research Center to obtain, preserve and disseminate information on political assassinations. The founding fathers of this country understood that in order to be their own governors a people must “arm themselves with the power knowledge gives.” British researcher Malcolm Blunt’s knowledge of the internal operations of Cold War intelligence agencies is peerless. To put the matter Bluntly, this collection of conversations with Alan Dale is a fascinating and groundbreaking penetration of the secrecy which warps the roles of all major players on the global stage.

The name “Malcolm Blunt” is synonymous with phrases such as “trusted source” and “detailed insight” in relation to JFK records. That became apparent to me long before I knew anything else about him. It is not mere hyperbole. His abilities in these areas were always going to bring him into the sunlight as the most well-known private source of documents and interpretations of same, outside of the Mary Ferrell Foundation. No mean feat for a lone and modest individual without even a website to call home! With much gratitude, I recommend these interviews to all who care…

When one studies the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, one quickly realizes that there were really two assassinations. One was the assassination of the man. And the other was the assassination of the truth. With The Devil is in the Details, Alan Dale presents a series of conversations with perhaps the utmost expert on this second assassination, Malcolm Blunt. Rich in detail, these conversations with Blunt unveil an aspect to the Kennedy assassination unseen but to a select few. But they're not without their humor. In reading these interviews, in fact, one can't help feeling like a fly on the wall eavesdropping on the most interesting conversation at a D.C. hotel. We should feel fortunate then that Dale had the good sense to record these conversations, and publish their transcripts, so we could read them and learn from them, and read them again. Bravo, Alan!

Since 1945 the United States has covertly developed, quietly sustained, and lavishly funded a parallel secret government controlled and directed by law enforcement agencies and several federal intelligence organizations, chiefly the Central Intelligence Agency. A propaganda system of nonpareil power mask their diabolical work. In ferreting out their massive, tangled, and hidden records while besting their foot soldiers in the bureaucracy Malcom Blunt is without peer, his work legendary. Alan Dale has done scholars and the nation an important service with his fine, clear, and helpful account.

David R. Wrone, Emeritus professor of history, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, author of JFK Bibliography and The Zapruder Film

In a world full of paradoxes, it takes a Brit to really understand America’s historic archives – and our deep political history. And few have mastered those as well as Malcolm Blunt, a true scholar and gentleman.

Russ Baker, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of WhoWhatWhy.org, author of the New York Times bestseller Family of Secrets: The Bush Dynasty, America’s Invisible Government and the Hidden History of the Last Fifty Years

America does not know that over 2 million pages of documents were declassified 22 years ago on the JFK assassination. Those pages redefined the scope and the nature of President Kennedy's murder. Malcolm Blunt is one of the few who has read and collected many of those documents. Not many people know who he is, but for those who do know, he is a hidden hero in the Kennedy case.

James DiEugenio, author, Destiny Betrayed,
Editor at https://kennedysandking.com/

Allow me to paraphrase from the acknowledgements in The Road to Dallas (p. 494):
"Malcolm Blunt has tried to familiarize himself with every JFK document in the archives in College Park. I was fortunate to sit next to him during several of my trips there and found his tips to be invariably accurate and useful."

David Kaiser, author of The Road to Dallas

One of the best things that happened to me as a JFK researcher was meeting and befriending Malcolm Blunt. I got to know Malcolm in the early 1990s. Malcolm and I were there from the earliest days of the newly formed Assassination Records Review Board (ARRB) which had the power to acquire and declassify JFK assassination records. No one had spent more time following the ARRB than I and no one has spent more time in Archives II acquiring and reading the documents than Malcolm. Almost everything I would want to do as a JFK researcher Malcolm has already done.

Allegations of collaboration with CIA and FBI[edit]
In the late 1970s, the American media reported that the Copley Press was used as a front by the Central Intelligence Agency. Reporters Joe Trento and Dave Roman claimed that James S. Copley, who served as publisher until 1973, had cooperated with the CIA since its founding in 1947. They also reported that a subsidiary division, Copley News Service, was used in Latin America by the CIA as a front.
Trento and Roman also said that reporters at the Copley-owned San Diego Union and Evening News spied on antiwar protesters for the FBI. They alleged that, at the height of these operations, at least two dozen Copley employees were simultaneously working for the CIA. James S. Copley was also accused of involvement in the CIA-funded Inter-American Press Association.[8][9][10]

For reasons the FBI has yet to disclose, in 2009 the Bureau became interested in a young man named Sami Samir Hassoun, who had immigrated to the United States from Lebanon.

Although his family came from a Shia-dominated region of that country, Hassoun was never particularly religious. He was, according to friends, exceptionally intelligent (he attended an elite school, studied medicine briefly, and is fluent in English and French as well as Arabic) and given to boasting.

Chicago restaurant owner Joseph Abraham recalls that Hassoun "wanted to make fast money" and lusted after personal fame. He succeeded in becoming a global celebrity of sorts on September 19 when he was arrested by a throng of FBI agents and Chicago cops after he deposited what he thought was a powerful bomb outside a bar near Wrigley Field.

The device had been manufactured at an FBI counter-terrorism lab in Quantico, Virginia, and supplied to Hassoun by two undercover FBI agents posing as terrorism financiers. The agents paid the young man $2,700 to quit his day job – and promised him a great deal more – to work full-time brainstorming various terrorist plots against targets in Chicago.

"My client didn't bring anything of his own making to the incident," maintains Hassoun's defense attorney Myron Auerbach. "Things were given to him." Hassoun, according to his friend Joseph Abraham (who knew him as a delivery man for a nearby bakery), had a fertile imagination, a gift for self-dramatization, and occasional difficulty in telling the unadorned truth. All of those traits appear to have worked in unfortunate synergy to get the young man into trouble. There is little in Hassoun's background to suggest a future career in terrorism, absent the FBI's intervention. Why did the FBI approach him in the first place?

Hassoun had no criminal record or background in violent or radical groups. According to FBI Special Agent Samuel Hartman, who swore out the criminal complaint against Hassoun, the decision to pair him up with an undercover provocateur was based on "information relating to Hassoun that is unrelated to this matter." This suggests, at least to hardened cynics like me, that the Bureau was trolling for patsies and learned something about Hassoun that they considered an exploitable vulnerability.

DEARBORN — Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox said Thursday that he won’t file criminal charges against FBI agents who shot Detroit Imam Luqman Ameen Abdullah 20 times, killing him during a raid last fall at a Dearborn warehouse.

“My office’s review found undisputed evidence that (Abdullah) resisted arrest and fired a gun first in the direction of the agents,” Cox said in a written statement. “Under Michigan law, law enforcement agents are justified in using deadly force in these types of situations, and therefore we found no crimes.”

But some leaders in the local Muslim community have questioned whether the agents used excessive force. Besides being shot 20 times, Abdullah had wounds that an independent forensic pathologist said were caused by an FBI dog killed during the raid.

Some have speculated that Abdullah may have fired his gun while trying to defend himself from the dog. Indeed, Cox’s report said agents deployed the dog after the suspect failed to show his hands while face-down on the ground.

The dog began biting Abdullah, who rolled over, revealed a gun and fired at the dog and at agents, the report said.

The coronavirus’s origins are still a mystery. We need a full investigation/ WaPo Editorial

The tide is turning.  The origin of SARS-CoV-2 remains in question.  And now the WaPo is supporting a full investigation, below. But don't expect much from pending investigations by the WHO or a group that has constituted itself as from the Lancet. The Lancet group's origin investigation is being led by Peter Daszac, PhD, whose NGO, EcoHealth Alliance, funded research at the Wuhan lab, and participated in the research. Not only that, Daszac has been quoted all over as saying that a lab origin is "pure baloney" and a conspiracy theory.
Not only that, but Daszac already has the answer to Covid-19: it is the fault of us humans and our interactions with nature.  It seems he self-selected to lead an investigation to protect his origin narrative (and protect the labs he funds) and he probably funded the Lancet medical journal to lend its name to his investigation.  Many scientists are understandably upset about Daszac investigating himself.

AFTER SO much death and illness, a mystery from the first days of the novel coronavirus has yet to be solved. We still don’t understand its origins or how it became a global killer. The answers lie in China, and quite possibly beyond. The world needs a credible, impartial investigation to better prepare for future pandemics...
David A. Relman, a Stanford University microbiologist, writes in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, “the ‘origin story’ is missing many key details,” including a recent detailed evolutionary history of the virus, identity of its most recent ancestors and “surprisingly, the place, time, and mechanism of transmission of the first human infection...”
“Preventing the next pandemic,” wrote Dr. Relman, “depends on understanding the origins of this one.”

HCQ: The Biggest Blunder Public Health Has Ever Made/Joel Hirschorn, Op-Ed News

Thanks to Joel Hirschorn at OpEd News for this quick, clear summary of the data on hydroxychloroquine:

The attack on the current pandemic can pursue four possible approaches. But because of the incredible power of one man, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the federal government is using only three of them: contagion control (curbing virus spreading through masks, social distancing, and lockdowns), hospital treatments and vaccines. What is missing?
It is early home/outpatient treatment as soon as a person gets COVID-19 symptoms or a positive test result. Early means within the first few days. A lot of evidence shows that 70 to 80 percent of covid deaths could have been prevented and still can for those still dying every day. That means for the over 240,000 deaths already in the US probably over 180,000 could have been prevented.
Do we have an effective home/outpatient treatment? Yes. And it has been proven effective on thousands of Americans because of a relatively small number of physicians willing to go against what the National Institutes of Health and the Food and Drug Administration have done. NIH has specifically said there is no approved home/outpatient treatment despite all the evidence that several doctors have created and used protocols that really work to keep people safe, healthy and out of hospital. And the FDA has explicitly made it very difficult to get and use a key medicine used in most of the proven protocols, namely hydroxychloroquine (HCQ).
One immediate rational question is: Why would the constantly esteemed Fauci intentionally ignore home/outpatient treatment when over 240,000 Americans have already died from covid and more every day? Why does Fauci favor letting covid victims wait until they get so sick they must be hospitalized. And why is this happening despite all the attempts at contagion control not working effectively, and infringing on personal freedoms and harming the economy?
One answer is that Fauci has always had a very close relationship with drug companies. Many billions of dollars for hospital medicines and vaccines are the logical answer. All the home/outpatient treatments use cheap generic medicines and vitamin supplements. Always follow the money.
How can you learn the facts about the home/outpatient treatments? There are three very good websites offering information from doctors.

First, the best and most useful one is by Americas Front Line Doctors. You can find detailed information on what the protocols consist of and on what states have done to block use of HCQ. Even more useful is that you can find a doctor in your state that can help you get what you need for using a protocol. There is also a White Paper by Dr. Simone Gold who some time ago concluded: "What we do know is that 70,000-100,000 excess American lives have been lost due to lack of access to HCQ."
Second, is the website by the American Association of Physicians and Surgeons. Here you can find the excellent "A Guide to Home-Based COVID Treatment" embraces early use of a HCQ cocktail. It makes this key point: "Zinc is critical. It helps block the virus from multiplying. Hydroxychloroquine is the carrier taking zinc INTO the cells to do its job."
Third, is https://covexit.com/ where you can access a number of presentations by the leading doctors using and promoting early home/outpatient treatment for covid.
But you may still be skeptical. Do these protocols using HCQ really work? There is a mountain of evidence. Here is just a small sampling.
In those countries with wide early use of HCQ the death rate is 71 percent lower than in those nations, like the US, where its use has been limited by government. Some 600,000 people have been saved worldwide. The data imply a saving of way over 150,000 US lives, a figure that will increase as the number of deaths, sadly, keeps increasing without using home/outpatient use of HCQ.
Recently Dr. Harvey Risch said: "Many or most of the 220,000 deaths in the United States to date could have been prevented by widespread HCQ use that the FDA blocked. It is the FDA that is responsible for these deaths, not the president." But Fauci is the power behind the throne, dictating FDA actions.
Frontline doctor Brian Tyson said that he has cured over 1,900 patients, and has said that between 75 and 80 percent of the over 200,000 deaths thus far could have been prevented by using HCQ!
Dr. Zev Zelenko a pioneer in using a HCQ cocktail, including zinc, that cut hospitalizations by 84 percent, started a petition in October, naming Fauci and other government officials who blocked HCQ use in March, noting: "Over 160,000 people were hospitalized and died unnecessarily. Let's make life saving treatment available and end the pandemic. Let's bring these criminals to justice."
For early use of HCQ, 171 studies have shown a median 64 percent reduction in negative virus impacts, hospitalizations or deaths. Early treatment studies show 100 percent effectiveness.

Welcome To 2030: I Own Nothing, Have No Privacy And Life Has Never Been Better /FORBES: World Economic Forum Leadership Strategy

Welcome to the year 2030. Welcome to my city - or should I say, "our city." I don't own anything. I don't own a car. I don't own a house. I don't own any appliances or any clothes.
It might seem odd to you, but it makes perfect sense for us in this city. Everything you considered a product, has now become a service. We have access to transportation, accommodation, food and all the things we need in our daily lives. One by one all these things became free, so it ended up not making sense for us to own much.
First communication became digitized and free to everyone...

Once in a while I get annoyed about the fact that I have no real privacy. Nowhere I can go and not be registered. I know that, somewhere, everything I do, think and dream of is recorded. I just hope that nobody will use it against me...

How to Soften Up the Public for the Covid-19 Vaccines--Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security Brochure

https://www.centerforhealthsecurity.org ... nation.pdf
An interesting cast of characters signed off on these guidelines for convincing the public to accept entirely new, questionable vaccines. The group includes Drs. Greg Poland, who led the fight to impose universal flu vaccine recommendations (and many state mandates) and Luciana Borio, a physician, fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations and Vice President at In-Q-Tel, the CIA's "venture capital" firm.
Of course, the group's first admonishment is to give people like themselves money to study the most effective forms of manipulation.
But, until then, they still offer lots of good ideas for how to manipulate the public to be vaccinated.  They know it won't be easy.  I have excerpted a variety of their "gems" below:

Conceived as a biotechnology and logistics challenge, COVID-19 vaccination is equally complex in terms of human factors. “If we build it, they will come” is a naïve presupposition about humans and vaccines. In 2010, for instance, many Americans rejected the H1N1 influenza pandemic vaccine because of perceived safety concerns—despite the fact that the vaccine involved only a strain change (ie, it was not a new technology) and the vaccine had been fully tested before release. (Fully? It missed the eventual 1300 + narcolepsy cases--Nass).
In contrast to the H1N1 pandemic flu vaccine, SARS-CoV-2 vaccines will be novel products, and when they are initially offered to the public, safety data may be limited to tens of thousands of vaccinated individuals, rather than larger numbers in which more rare adverse effects could be detected. In addition, the H1N1 vaccine amplified health disparities as well as feelings of racial bias. In Los Angeles, for example, distrust in the government resulting from prior experimentation on Black men and women led Black faith-based leaders, radio personalities, and other community leaders to advise local Black community members to avoid vaccination...
There is a risk that projections about vaccine development are overly optimistic and may set up unrealistic public expectations and mistrust around vaccine safety and availability...
Emphasis on the unprecedented speed with which vaccines are being developed has inadvertently prompted safety concerns...
Underestimation of COVID-19’s risk, fostered by an inconsistent government response, dampens public willingness to implement protective measures...
Temper expectations of a vaccine as a “quick fix...”
Early on, seek the counsel and input of communities who have historic reluctance toward novel vaccines and understandable fears of being “experimented on...”
In advance of a SARS-CoV-2 vaccine rollout, federal health agencies should develop a coordinated national strategy to promote vaccination, employing human-centered design to develop interventions that help a broad network of champions communicate effectively with the public about risks, benefits, allocation and targeting, and availability...
The CDC, with the support of Congress, should fund state and local health departments, via the Public Health Emergency Preparedness grants, to form partnerships with grassroots-level organizations and stakeholders to promote vaccination...
OWS, HHS, CDC, and state and local health officials should develop operational systems that involve nontraditional civilian partners and instill public confidence that vaccine distribution is evenhanded. Involving civil rights groups and health advocacy organizations, including the NAACP, the National Urban League, the League of United Latin American Citizens, the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund, the National Disability Rights Network, the American Association of Retired Persons, the National Immigration Project, Unidos, Partnership with Native Americans, the Rural Community Assistance Partnership, the National Rural Health Association, Doctors Without Borders, and the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, can bolster the equitable delivery of vaccines and instill public trust in the vaccination process...  (This is probably a list of organizations that CDC has already bought off, so pay attention to pronouncements from these organizations--Nass.)
Utilize nontraditional vaccination sites like schools, pharmacies, workplaces, grocery stores, health departments, mass vaccination clinics, faith centers, barber shops, senior centers, dental offices, home visits, and others... (They have already figured out that family physicians are likely to warn their patients about rapidly rolled out, novel vaccines with inadequate safety testing--so the plan is to bypass physicians as much as possible during the vaccine rollout--Nass.)
Identifying a network of trusted spokespeople will be essential for an effective communication campaign around future COVID-19 vaccines. To motivate people to take protective actions like vaccination requires that they hear a salient and specific message repeatedly, delivered by multiple trusted messengers and via diverse media channels. Effective public health and safety communication involves a repetitive streaming of personally compelling information...

Best explanation of why the Covid PCR tests result in large numbers of false positives

No lab test is 100% accurate.  Hopefully most have about 90-99% sensitivity and specificity.  Doctors know that some results will be wrong, so we are always weighing all our evidence, and not relying entirely on a lab result to make a diagnosis.
We test sick patients.  Health insurance does not pay for screening tests in healthy patients, with certain notable exceptions.  The combination of symptoms and lab results allows us to be mostly right.
When you start to screen healthy patients, who don't have symptoms, and you are trying to make a diagnosis based exclusively on a lab test, there are numerous possible pitfalls.  Below is an excellent discussion of how baked-in test limitations can lead you wildly astray.
Taken verbatim from Sebastian Rushworth, MD's blog:
"As mentioned, the sensitivity of the PCR test seems to be around 88% . A good value for the specificity is harder to determine, but it’s somewhere between 88% and 100%, so if we assume a specificity of 94% (halfway between the two values) we’re probably not far off.
Let’s say the disease is spreading rampantly through the population, and one in ten people are infected at the same time. If we test 1,000 people at random, that will mean 100 of those people actually have covid, while 900 don’t. Of the 100 who have covid, the test will successfully pick up 88. Of the 900 who don’t have covid, the test will correctly tell 846 that they don’t have it, but it will also tell 54 healthy people that they do have covid. So, in total 142 people out of 1,000 are told that they have covid. Of those 142 people, 62% actually have the disease, and 38% don’t.
That’s not great. Four in ten people getting a positive test result don’t actually have covid, even in a situation where the disease is so common that 10% of people being tested really do have the disease.
Unfortunately, it gets worse. let’s assume the disease is starting to wane, and now only one in a hundred people being tested actually has covid. If we test 1,000 people, that will mean ten will really have covid, while 990 won’t. Of the ten who have covid, nine will be correctly told that they have it. Of the 990 who don’t have it, 931 will be correctly told that they don’t have it, while 59 will be incorrectly told that they do have the disease. So, in total, 68 people will be told that they have covid. But only 9 out of 68 will actually have the disease. To put it another way, in a situation where only 1% of the population being tested has the disease, 87% of positive results will be false positives.
There is another thing about this that I think is worth paying attention to. When one in ten people being tested has the disease, you get 142 positive results per 1000 people tested. But when one in a hundred has the disease, you get 68 positive results. So, even though the actual prevalence of the disease has decreased by a factor of ten, the prevalence of PCR positive results has only decreased by half. So if you’re only looking at PCR results, and consider that to be an accurate reflection of how prevalent the disease is in the population, then you will be fooled, because the disease will seem to be much more prevalent than it is.
Let’s do one final thought experiment to illustrate this. Say the disease is now very rare, and only one in a thousand tested people actually has covid. If you test 1,000 people, you will get back 61 positive results. Of those, one will be a true positive, and 60 will be false positives. So, even though the prevalence of true disease has again decreased by a factor of ten, the number of positive results has only decreased slightly, from 68 to 61 (of which 60 are false positives!). So by looking just at positive PCR tests, you can easily be convinced that the disease is continuing to be roughly as prevalent in the population, even as it goes from being present in one in a hundred people to only being present in one in a thousand. The rarer the disease becomes in reality, the less likely you are to notice any difference in the number of tests returning positive results.
I want to restate this again, in a slightly different way, to make sure the message sinks in. As the disease drops enormously, by a factor of 100, from affecting one in ten to one in a thousand tested people, there is little more than a halving in PCR positive results, from 142 to 61. So a huge reduction in real infections only causes a small reduction in PCR confirmed “cases”. In fact, the disease could vanish from the face of the Earth, and you would still be getting 60 positive results for every 1,000 tests carried out!
The same trend is seen even if the PCR test were to have a much better specificity than we are estimating here, of say 99% . Here’s a quick illustration, since I don’t want to tire you with too many more numbers. If one in ten has the disease and you test 1,000 people, you will get back 97 positive results, of which 88 will be true positives and 9 will be false positives. If one in 100 has the disease, you will get back 19 positive results, of which 9 will be true positives and ten will be false positives. If one in 1,000 has the disease, you will get back 12 positive results, of which 11 will be false positives.
So, even if the test has a very high specificity of 99%, when the virus stops being present at pandemic levels in the population and starts to decrease to more endemic levels, you quickly get to a point where most positive results are false positives, and where the disease seems to be much more prevalent than it really is.
As you can see, the less prevalent the disease is in reality, the more likely the test is to generate a false positive result, and the less useful the test is as a method for figuring out who actually has covid. And the less prevalent the disease is, the more prevalent it will seem to be in relation to reality. If decisions about covid continue to be made largely based on what PCR tests show, we might never be able to call off the pandemic!
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why PCR positive cases are a very poor indicator of how prevalent covid is in the population, and why we should instead be basing decisions on the rates of hospitalization, ICU admission, and death. If we just look at the PCR tests, we will continue to believe that the disease is widespread in the population indefinitely, even as it becomes less and less common in reality."
Now, I (Meryl Nass) must add that currently, real cases ARE going up in the US, based on hospitalizations, ICU admissions, deaths.  I don't for a second deny that.
But high total case counts are partly due to the problems inherent in the test process.  The US is testing 1.5 million people a day, and about 160,000 people a day are testing positive.  How many thousands are false positives?

Covidicide/ Brett Wilcox

Brett Wilcox is a fabulous writer, and is spot-on about the real (but deliberately unmeasured) effects of our deliberately misguided approach to Covid-19:
NOVEMBER 3, 2020 BY BRETT WILCOX

COVIDICIDE

Covidicide [ koh-vid-uh-sahyd]: killing, death and destruction caused by or subsequent to COVID related measures, policies, rules, pronouncements, interventions and treatments including but not limited to the following:
• the planned, purposeful, and coordinated killing of nursing home residents by government officials in several countries via compulsory co-mingling of COVID patients with COVID negative residents.
• the killing of nursing home residents as a consequence of loneliness, isolation, depression, and sickness due to the long-term forced separation from healthy family and friends.
• the planned and purposeful killing of elderly and disabled patients via administration of respiratory-inhibiting drugs including morphine.
• the killing of both COVID and non-COVID patients by refusing to provide care to real and present patients purportedly to free up resources for theoretical, future patients.
• the killing of COVID patients who are instructed to stay home until their condition has deteriorated rather than seek out and receive early intervention and treatment.
• the killing of non-COVID patients by withholding standard medical care over extended periods of time including diagnostic tests, treatments, and interventions.
• the killing of inpatient COVID patients via profit-driven but contraindicated intubation and ventilation.
• the killing of patients via unwanted Do Not Resuscitate orders.
• the planned and purposeful injuring and killing of people in the HCQ related UK Recovery and WHO Solidarity trials where late-stage COVID patients were given four times the recommended HCQ dosage normally given to early ambulatory patients with zinc and/or azithromycin.
• the planned and purposeful injuring and killing of people who were prevented from receiving HCQ as a result of the fraudulent Surgisphere study which was published by the Lancet [and later retracted] and promoted as evidence against the safety and efficacy of HCQ.
• the planned, purposeful and coordinated killing of people by so-called experts with their claim that there are no known COVID treatments, the censorship of information regarding COVID treatments, and by limiting and/or removing access to such treatments including but not limited to HCQ.
• the planned, purposeful and coordinated killing of people who would have received effective treatments were it not for the silencing, firing, censoring and punishment of medical providers who successfully treat COVID patients.
• the killing of people caused by doctors who fail to honor their Hippocratic Oath by withholding information from COVID patients regarding known and recognized COVID treatments and/or by refusing to prescribe such treatments.
• the killing of people caused by the failure of so-called experts and medical professionals to inform the public of known and recognized natural and inexpensive strategies to strengthen the human immune system.
• the killing of COVID and non-COVID patients who fail to seek medical care due to unreasonable fear caused by fear mongering from so-called experts and the 24/7 panic news cycle.
• the killing of COVID and non-COVID patients who are prevented from having an advocate by their side to ensure proper medical care and to guard against unnecessary and dangerous medical care.
• the killing of individuals due to heart failure, strokes and other causes via 24/7 COVID-related fear mongering.
• the accidental and/or purposeful loss of life due to excess use of pharmaceuticals, alcohol, and other drugs used as COVID-related coping strategies.
• suicide resulting from psychological and emotional trauma and/or financial distress due to COVID measures including lockdown, chronic social isolation, bullying, and shaming.
• the killing of community members resulting from COVID-related fights and assaults.
• the killing of individuals due to complications from mask use including hypoxia, hypercapnia, loss of consciousness, falls, and infections.
• the killing of individuals who submit to ineffective and dangerous flu shots due to COVID-related fear mongering.
• the killing of individuals via unethical testing and the release of experimental vaccines brought to market at “warp speed.”
• the destruction of healthy child development and healthy parent/child relationships caused by chronically frightened and traumatized parents, the masking of parents and/or children, fear of parent/child physical contact, and obsessive focus on hygiene.
• the destruction of the family caused by COVID-related separation and isolation via forced detainment/quarantine camps and other facilities.
• the destruction of the global food system resulting in increased malnutrition, compromised health, loss of IQ, disease, and/or starvation.
• the killing of individuals by police officers and/or soldiers due to COVID-related measures or consequences including riots, curfews, travel restrictions, etc.
• the killing of truth via fabricated and/or inaccurate COVID-related statistics including exaggerated disease projections, the fraudulent reclassification of COVID deaths, and PCR-test chicanery resulting in exaggerated and meaningless case counts.
• the killing of common sense and critical thinking skills as manifested by unquestioning submission to endless inane, dangerous, and/or contradictory pronouncements from so-called experts.
• the destruction of education caused by scientifically and morally indefensible school-related COVID measures including mask use and other barriers, online learning, and over exposure to toxic substances, all of which negatively impacts student and teacher well-being, learning and participation, resulting in increased behavioral and mental health issues, withdrawals, “dropouts”, risky behaviors and suicide.
• the killing of the arts and the personal, interpersonal, and societal benefits derived from the creation, expression, and experiencing of the arts.
• the planned and purposeful destruction of the global economy, economic systems and the forced closure of millions of businesses deemed non-essential resulting in unemployment, loss of income and savings, despair, illness, premature death and suicide.
• the killing of kindness, love, good will and civility.
• the killing of bodily autonomy and individual sovereignty.
• the killing of parental rights regarding the care and education of their children.
• the killing of God-given, Constitutionally recognized rights including but not limited to freedom of speech, freedom to assemble, freedom of religion, and freedom of privacy.
• the potential bastardization and/or annihilation of the human race caused by the unpredictable and unknown effects of vaccines designed to permanently alter human DNA.

FBI Accused of Sweeping Sexual Misconduct Cases ‘Under the Rug’

By Steve Neavling
At least six high-ranking FBI officials have been accused of sexual misconduct in the past five years, and none was disciplined, according to an Associated Press investigation.
Two of the ranking agents were accused of sexual assault this week.
In each case, the FBI officials retained their full pensions and benefits, even when the allegations were substantiated. Further, after the investigations were over, FBI officials maintained their anonymity and were able to get jobs in the private sector or remain in federal law enforcement.
“They’re sweeping it under the rug,” said a former FBI analyst who filed a federal lawsuit, alleging a supervisory special agent licked her face and groped her .
Some advocacy groups and members of Congress are calling for an investigation of the FBI’s disciplinary process.
“They need a #MeToo moment,” U.S. Rep. Jackie Speier, a California Democrat, said.
“It’s repugnant, and it underscores the fact that the FBI and many of our institutions are still good ol’-boy networks,” Speier said. “It doesn’t surprise me that, in terms of sexual assault and sexual harassment, they are still in the Dark Ages.”
The FBI said in a statement that it “maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward sexual harassment,” adding that high-ranking agents have been forced out of their positions while allegations are under investigation.
In one case, an assistant FBI director was accused of sexually assaulting a female subordinate in a stairwell. In another case, a high-ranking FBI official was accused of sexually harassing eight employees.

For Gayle Wyche, an agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration, the low point came after she had complained about sexual harassment only to have a new supervisor suggest that they work it out by going "barhopping and hot tubbing" on a weekly basis.
For Shirley Garcia, an investigative assistant with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, it came when a male supervisor told her she "ought to use a dildo."
For Suzanne Doucette, formerly an FBI agent for nine years, the exact low is difficult to chart. First, she said, a supervisor physically assaulted her. Then, after she had filed a complaint and testified before a Senate hearing last year, she alleges that the FBI attempted to discredit her, even going so far as to interview her hair stylist.
Those compelling personal stories gave support to the broader findings of a General Accounting Office investigation of sexual

Letter to the Editor: Sexual Harrassment Crisis at the FBI
This letter was sent to a number of news outlets.
By Ellen Glasser
President, Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI
As individuals, we regularly examine our priorities to make decisions as we manage our checkbooks. As citizens, we expect our elected leaders to do the same with our government checkbook. The effects of sequestration are dramatic and far reaching across all sectors of government. Some are inconsequential, some are cause concern, and a few are downright dangerous. The drastic budgetary cuts the FBI pose a clear and present danger to national security and to the citizens of the United States. If these cuts remain in place it will not be a question of if, but rather when disaster will occur.
Since September 11, 2001, the FBI has been at the forefront of protecting us from terrorist attacks including the interdiction of plots to bomb the New York Federal Reserve Bank; a Portland, Oregon public park; a Cleveland, Ohio bridge; a Bronx, New York, Jewish Community Center; the U.S. Capitol building; the Chicago Sears Tower; the Ft. Dix, New Jersey, military base; jet fuel tanks at New York’s Kennedy airport and scores of other critical targets. At the same time, the FBI has continued to address its other responsibilities including detecting espionage; investigating public corruption; protecting us from cyber-attacks; addressing civil-rights violations; and investigating major criminal matters.
FBI Director James B. Comey recently assumed office with the promise of a continued, vigorous commitment to the bureau’s responsibilities. But how can he fulfill that promise with one hand tied behind his back? Sequestration has cut $700 million from the FBI budget necessitating the furlough of 36,000 employees; reducing the FBI’s workforce by 3,500; imposing a hiring freeze until at least 2015; cancelling inter-agency, law enforcement training; eliminating on-board employee training; and imposing countless other restrictions which impede and degrade the FBI’s ability to address its responsibilities.
Although the general public may not yet fully appreciate the danger it faces from FBI budget cuts, law enforcement professionals do. Police leaders attending a recent International Chiefs of Police Conference emphatically deplored the budgetary problems confronting the FBI as, “A body blow to law enforcement.”
Do something for your country and those you care about. Now is the time to tell your elected representatives to reexamine their priorities and restore funding to the FBI. Tell them we are not content to wait until the next disaster occurs.

Is the virus real? Has it been photographed? What about Koch's postulates?

Yes it is real.  A misleading CDC/FDA document originally written in February but reposted months later stated there was no quantifiable sample of SARS-CoV-2 available.  That is not true.  Here, CDC tells you how they cultured it and how you can get some--as long as your institution satisfies stringent criteria. CDC's discussion of its culture technique was published in its own journal, Emerging Infectious Diseases.  The artice concludes:

We have deposited information on the SARS-CoV-2 USA-WA1/2020 viral strain described here into the Biodefense and Emerging Infections Research Resources Repository, ATCC and the World Reference Center for Emerging Viruses and Arboviruses, University of Texas Medical Branch, to serve as the SARS-CoV-2 reference strain for the United States. The SARS-CoV-2 fourth passage virus has been sequenced and maintains a nucleotide sequence identical to that of the original clinical strain from the United States. These deposits make this virus strain available to the domestic and international public health, academic, and pharmaceutical sectors for basic research, diagnostic development, antiviral testing, and vaccine development. We hope broad access will expedite countermeasure development and testing and enable a better understanding of the transmissibility and pathogenesis of this novel emerging virus.

This virus has been isolated and fully sequenced 125,000 times in countries around the world, both by poor countries such as Nepal, as well as by richer countries such as South Korea and Australia.
A large number of people who don't know a lot about viruses, but were cognizant of the nonsense the public is being fed about most other aspects of the Covid-19 pandemic, understandably concluded there was no virus. Perhaps the government agencies that supplied the information from which they drew this conclusion did so cunningly, with the hope to entrap the unwary.
Thankfully, a New Zealand microbiology professor explains what took place as a result of poor wording in requests for information.
Some people still clamour that Koch's Postulates have not been met wrt SARS-CoV-2--but they were met, as closely as possible, in animal models like the Golden Syrian hamster.  [Why are the Syrians always getting slammed?] You can't infect a human to test Koch's postulates, and then publish it, and not be arrested.
What about photomicrographs of SARS-CoV-2?  It turns out that some of the early photographs were misinterpretations by their authors and did NOT, in fact, provide reliable pictures of the virus. See this Correspondence in the Lancet about published photomicrographs that mistook endoplasmic reticulum for virus, for instance.  (Strangely enough, two of the coauthors of the fabricated Lancet paper damning chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine were coauthors of a Lancet article and response that got photos of the virus wrong:  Mandeep Mehra and Frank Ruschitzka. They admitted no mistakes either time.)
But it seems that good pictures of the virus have been taken.  For instance, see figure 2 in this paper.
Please look at the links before dismissing the virus.  We have been given misinformation about masks, lockdowns, tests, case numbers, deaths, asymptomatic spread, proper treatment, etc.  But there truly is a very mean virus out there.  It looks like some nasty features were engineered in.
We have vitamins, minerals, and drugs that can effectively manage the infection, particularly when treated early.  I don't doubt that environmental toxins and electromagnetic fields may increase our susceptibility to infection.  But there truly is a new infectious virus out there.  Our governments and health officials have simply done every single thing wrong to manage it, greatly prolonging and worsening the situation.

Congress Must Clean House
BY JAMES C Nelson
Donald J. Trump (DJT) is so mentally and emotionally damaged that 37 psychiatrists, psychologists, doctors and mental health experts have deemed him to be an existential threat to our democracy. Variously, they cite malignant narcissistic personality disorder, extreme present hedonism and arrested emotional development, antisocial personality disorder, bullying, lack of empathy, sociopathy, sadism, paranoia and delusional thinking. Read their book, The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump.[1]
Yet, based upon nothing more than DJT’s bizarre, unfounded claims of massive election fraud, a number members of Congress (including Montana’s Senator Steve Daines) have determined to challenge November’s presidential election results and award the election to the loser.

Jeffrey S. Sallet Named FBI Associate Deputy Director
Director Christopher Wray has named Jeffrey S. Sallet as the associate deputy director of the FBI. Mr. Sallet oversees all FBI personnel, budget, administration, and infrastructure, as well as the inspections and insider threat programs. He most recently served as the executive assistant director of the Human Resources Branch.
Mr. Sallet started his FBI career as a special agent in 1997 in the New York Field Office, investigating crimes across several areas. During the 9/11 investigation, he was responsible for identifying how the attacks were funded and for tracking al Qaeda’s financial assets.
In 2005, Mr. Sallet transferred to the Criminal Investigative Division at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C., to manage La Cosa Nostra investigations in the northeastern United States. In 2007, he moved to the Providence Resident Agency in Rhode Island. The next year, he was promoted to supervisory senior resident agent, in charge of all counterterrorism, public corruption, civil rights, government fraud, and organized crime investigations in Rhode Island.
Mr. Sallet was promoted again in 2012, to an assistant special agent in charge in the Boston Field Office, overseeing white-collar crime, public corruption, health care fraud, and civil rights matters. He also led the coordinated law enforcement response and investigation of the Boston Marathon bombing in April 2013.
Mr. Sallet was named chief of the Public Corruption/Civil Rights Section in the Criminal Investigative Division at FBI Headquarters in 2014. He was promoted to special agent in charge of the New Orleans Field Office in 2015 and moved to lead the Chicago office in 2017. He was promoted to associate executive assistant director of the Finance and Facilities Division in 2019.

WHO admitted last year that masks and social distancing were designed to stop transmission from people with SYMPTOMS! There is no evidence they do anything to control the pandemic when used by asymptomatic people

http://www.emro.who.int/health-topics/c ... cases.html
"11 June 2020 - Global research on COVID-19 continues to be conducted, including how the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is transmitted. Current evidence suggests that most transmission occurs from symptomatic people through close contact with others. Accordingly, most recommendations by WHO on personal protective measures (such as use of masks and physical distancing) are based on controlling transmission from symptomatic patients, including patients with mild symptoms who are not easy to identify early on.

Available evidence from contact tracing reported by countries suggests that asymptomatically infected individuals are much less likely to transmit the virus than those who develop symptoms. A subset of studies and data shared by some countries on detailed cluster investigations and contact tracing activities have reported that asymptomatically-infected individuals are much less likely to transmit the virus than those who develop symptoms.

Comprehensive studies on transmission from asymptomatic patients are difficult to conduct, as they require testing of large population cohorts and more data are needed to better understand and quantified the transmissibility of SARS-CoV-2. WHO is working with countries around the world, and global researchers, to gain better evidence-based understanding of the disease as a whole, including the role of asymptomatic patients in the transmission of the virus."
