This is a general question for all, and not directed to anyone in particular: Should each human-individual RI user be limited to starting no more than one new thread a month? (Obviously this would have to include anyone using multiple identities or sockpuppets.)

As laid out by JackRiddler, you have flooded the forum for a long time now (just take a look at the front page and the user names that have commented most recently on the threads, it's pretty blatant, I won't bother with a screen cap), and thus would seem to have no reason to be worried, but your reaction is completely out of proportion if that is indeed so.

Anyone with eyes or operating from a degree of honesty knows this because it's so

First off, I don't know how "one thread a month" would be implemented given the interface. Second off, I like all of the personalities, PEOPLE here and then it would fall on me and others to manually go in and ban people creating bad blood/feelings for doing nothing other than typing on their keyboard. There cannot be rules that are good for some and bad for others. I really don't want to make any moves to alienate anyone who especially have been here a long time.

Some of us have differing thresholds and as long as I sit in this spot of seeming power, I see no problem with anyone. Long ago, I was asked to manage a restaurant I spent a long 10 years at and I said I won't be a manager but I will manage. Open and close it. Do inventory. But I am not going to tell anyone what to do, is what I said. Ask for help or help when needed for sure, but I did not want to give orders because in all my life I have hated being given orders and supposed the feeling was mutual. The place ran itself because of teamwork and respect. So I said I'll take the key to open it up and close it down, but I did not want to tell others how they emotionally take or do shit. Just do your jobs and be a team. A team of other entities that may not see eye to eye but were all in the same boat.

I realize this is just a minuscule population of inquiring minds (plus, I guess, "sockpuppets") anymore and not a business, but respect for one another is what gets us through no matter the irritation. And I'm not going to take sides in something so inconsequential when it comes to it but, again, is merely a sounding board that some have still stuck around for.

Sockpuppets are forbidden on RI since 2010, per Jeff. How is "including" them even pertinent?!
