A maroon Ford Escape intentionally plowed through a crowd in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Dozens of people are injured and reports of fatalities. Horrific video is emerging of the SUV deliberately driving into the crowd. Initial reporting of several people in the vehicle at the time. Media reporting a person of interest has been identified.

If anything, it's both hopeful and impressive that there weren't more of these over the weekend. As America lurches towards Summer 2022, this attrition is going to get more and more common on both sides.

That will lead to a lot of noise and hysteria, but the real danger isn't the fringe cases like Brooks (or Rittenhouse or Johnson or Perry or Anderson) but the respective polar cores of The Great Culture war getting more militant and militarized, with extensive support networks and funding. This has already been a ten year long proxy war and it's about to heat up considerably, not because "the people" are "fed up" but because the factions behind all this are under increasing pressure to actually win strategic battles instead of just profiting off the panic.
