Joe Cannon has a book out about phantom social workers

Postby Stephen Morgan » Mon Feb 07, 2022 1:38 pm

Hello. I don't know if anyone still here will even remember one-time middling political blogger Joseph Cannon, but this is where I found his blog, which was recently taken down by Google. I stumbled across his Youtube channel after seeing the blog was down, and I thought I'd come and drop the information here on what he's doing now. Just for anyone else that was wondering what happened to his blog.

His Youtube channel, where he's having some fun with woo stuff, is here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3AKt1 ... ISof9naxwA

His book, The Child Stealers: Phantom Social Workers - An American Mystery, a rather convoluted title, is here: https://www.amazon.com/Child-Stealers-P ... B09QRH81DK
Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that all was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, and make it possible. -- Lawrence of Arabia

Cheers Stephen. We haven't had any direct contact on RI, you were here before my time I think, but I've had fun posting to your Pictures of your locale thread over the last few years. So, what do you know about the subject of the book? I confess, it hasn't appeared on my radar but a quick look around suggests it's a long running topic of discussion elsewhere. Have you read it? If so, any thoughts?
And while we spoke of many things, fools and kings
This he said to me
"The greatest thing
You'll ever learn
Is just to love
And be loved
In return"

Joseph Cannon is the 00's era, Democracy Underground adjacent blogger who claimed Barbara Bush was the Spawn of Crowley.

Martin Cannon is the UFOlogist who coined the term MILAB and claimed a majority of abduction cases were military psychological operations. He is the author of "The Child Stealers," which sounds rather interesting.

When the “phantom social workers” (as they came to be called) swarmed over the U.K. in the 1990s, politicians and the public cried out for an investigation. Unfortunately, British authorities decided to pretend that these strange imposters do not exist.

But they do. This book offers conclusive proof.

The enigma began in the United States more than a hundred years ago. Some of these bizarre criminals have, in fact, abducted children. Some have even killed the parents.

Over the decades, these “phantoms” have terrorized hundreds of families. Between the years 2010 and 2020, the United States experienced an extraordinary wave of phantom social worker encounters. You didn’t learn about these crimes because the national press refuses to discuss the history and scope of this phenomenon. Journalists treat each new case as if it were the first.

The phantom social workers have done truly disturbing things – nearly unspeakable things. Some theorists have posited a supernatural origin. This book demonstrates that these criminals are quite human.

And for the first time, you’ll discover their true motive.

A full year of investigation went into The Child Stealers, a magisterial overview containing 93,000 words and over four hundred endnotes. The research is original and groundbreaking. The stories are fascinating; the writing is both detailed and engaging. Everything is documented with exquisite care.

In these pages, you’ll explore some of the most bizarre crimes in the nation’s history – and you’ll gather all the data you need to help solve one of the world’s most perplexing mysteries.
