Hefner & Disney

Somewhere between Never Neverland and Wonderland
In a land called Never Wonderland
There lived a beautiful wealthy young divorcee
With a checkered past and a bad memory
Who should probably remain nameless

And men traveled from far and wide and try to win her hand
And she took in stragglers from all over the known world
Her newest guests were (as her mother called them)
"The latest Russians to defect"
One's name was Hefner
The other's name was Disney
Disney smoked a pipe and was very philosophical
He was constantly surrounded by go go girls
And he used to take pictures of them without any clothes on
And sell them to the neighborhood children

Hefner on the other hand was not so introspective
He loved a good story just like anybody else
In fact he loved the myths of Never Wonderland so much
That he made elaborate molded plastic sculptures
Of the characters in the myths
Then he would put them out in the garden
Until he had built a whole nother land in Never Wonderland
Which he called Hefnerland

And the neighborhood children loved them
They had lots of fun playing in Hefnerland
And looking at all Disney's go go pictures
Because they didn't know any better
And they didn't know any worse

But the beautiful young wealthy divorcee thought
That they were only after her money
Sometimes she even wished they would go back to Russia
But between you and me they were really dupes of the Wicked King
Who wanted to rob the children of their dreams

Love T-Bone and love the song. I have it streaming on RI radio. I've always held a special place for Proof Through the Night. There's a lot of truth sung with catchy hooks.

From his most recent, The True False Identity: Ealier Baghdad.

Could you use some quiet?
Can you perform an exorcism?
You numbed you conscience with sanctimony
I numbed mine with narcissism

Wow, I have to hear that song.
“Joy is a current of energy in your body, like chlorophyll or sunlight,
that fills you up and makes you naturally want to do your best.” - Bill Russell

Primitives dress in feathers and masks
To scare away their enemies
The frightening thing is not dying
The frightening thing is not living

Scientists guess which is worse we will ask
The medicine or the disease
The frightening thing is not dying
The frightening thing is not living...

Proof Through the Night is a new nonpartisan program. We have two goals:

* A website with everything an American citizen needs to become informed and active politically.

* Enough strategies to create an informed, critically-thinking and active American electorate by 2019.

Tagline: There's more than one way to fight for your country.

Epic Mickey is set in a world where the old and forgotten Disney creations are cast into a dark world of "broken machines and bitter personalities".
This world is under the control of Oswald the Rabbit (first appearance 1927), Walt Disney's first character.

Oswald hates Mickey because of his success and is looking to get revenge for years of unpopularity.
So he sends his minion, The Phantom Blot (first appearance 1939), to destroy Mickey and the cartoon world...

The concept art is disturbing. Seems like they should have just called it, "Disney's Zombies"

Mickey Mouse's 'Naughty' Makeover Promises to be Disturbing

Image

But seriously, ever since "naughty" crossed paths with "nurse" and "maid" and every female on Hugh Hefner's dance card, it should really just be off-limits to people whose jobs involve children.
Luckily, Spector assures us that "Mickey is never going to be evil or go around killing people," mostly because the imagine of him as a coyly naughty-but-nice seducer is psychically troubling enough for one generation.

there's a fine between love and hate
that we erased
that we erased

what started as a mask became a face
the pain untraced
the pain untraced

i been a long time searching for you
i been a long time breaking through
i'm gonna be a long time getting over you
over you

standing in the doorway facing south
the moon comes up
the sun goes down

wondering what this noise was all about
the dust blows in
the light blows out

i spent a long time looking for you
i spent a long time breaking through
gonna be a long time getting over you
over you

down the road i see the fog roll in
as thick as fear
as dark as sin

we live in an age lit by lightning
after the flash
eye am blind again

i been a long time searching for you
i been a long time breaking through
i'm gonna be a long time getting over you
over you
over you
over Hugh

Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.
Don’t forget that.
