Sex Rituals of Abu Ghraib

Postby professorpan » Fri Feb 17, 2006 2:01 pm

(crossposted at my blog)

I touched a nerve when I published Sex, Drugs, Mind Control and Gitmo in July of 2005. More than anything else I've written in recent years, it was circulated and republished widely. In that article, I suggested that the goings-on at Abu Ghraib and Gitmo were not just examples of bored, unsupervised soldiers gone wild, but were part of a cleverly orchestrated, historically documented program of sexual/ritualistic mind control.

Time has only added more evidence that I was correct.

From Salon's exclusive:

"A review of all the computer media submitted to this office revealed a total of 1,325 images of suspected detainee abuse, 93 video files of suspected detainee abuse, 660 images of adult pornography, 546 images of suspected dead Iraqi detainees, 29 images of soldiers in simulated sexual acts, 20 images of a soldier with a Swastika drawn between his eyes, 37 images of Military Working dogs being used in abuse of detainees and 125 images of questionable acts."

And:

The DVD also includes photographs of guards threatening Iraqi prisoners with dogs, homemade videotapes depicting hooded prisoners being forced to masturbate, and a video showing a mentally disturbed prisoner smashing his head against a door. Oddly, the material also includes numerous photographs of slaughtered animals and mundane images of soldiers traveling around Iraq.

Salon claims that this batch "may represent all of the photographic and video evidence that pertains to that investigation."

I suspect a limited hangout.

We have yet to see the photos and videotapes of children being raped and tortured. And we probably never will. That might be a little too much for a war-weary public to handle. And if you think the rioting over anti-Muslim cartoons was a big deal...

Let's look at the elements and try to ascertain the bigger picture behind the reprehensible images.

Rape. Torture. Circles of candles. Swastikas. Sexual activity among the torturers themselves, often in front of the detainees. Creation of cognitive dissonance to fracture the minds of the victims. Mutilated animals.

This is not the picture of a program designed to elicit actionable information. It is a program to shatter minds, perhaps to rebuild them as a new generation of assassins.

And it's right out of a dark occultist's playbook.

For more on the subject, see the Sex, Drugs, Mind Control and Torture index.

http://www.charm.net/~profpan/2005/11/sex-drugs-mind-control-and-torture.html

The limited hangout issue, is puzzling. it seems like it is one. then what is the goal ? one way of looking at it, is creating psychwarefare material to be released in crucial moments, as to create riots (this might benefit the war planners, as "see, they are a violent mob, let's bomb them") ; or, to instill fear, and I think it is rather doing its work. and there is ritual in the larger sense.
09
Since those behind are in fact nazi sex perverts and racists, i am ruling out a "fake impression of a mad dog" project (which as much as it is horrible, is considered military craft, and legit). this leaves the second choice, that it is intended to instill fear, massively. The holocaust experience is validating this working supposition, btw. it works. AND, i think the people who are now in charge in the USA, are the types who really believe that this is a "spiritual" war, and that they can somehow ritually catch the arab/moslem ginnie, or minister/angel/archetype and knock it out with symbolism and ceremonies such as those.
--
I don't have any advice, except that Jewish experience proves that these things cannot be treated lightly. the difference in the holocaust experience is that the Jews were minority, and the "terrorist" are in fact a huge billion people nation, spreading on entire regions and countries. much less likely to be hit by voodoo..but who knows.

"More than anything else I've written in recent years, it was circulated and republished widely."

Hopefully that means more people are becoming aware of the significance of these seemingly random images. I think that's part of the problem with this whole subject...people have been conditioned to think these symbols are meaningless and they're hokey and they remind us of an early 80's Ozzy record and,..." oh what was that called? that satanic whatever abuse scare? that stuff that was debunked in the early 90's?...."....and that doesn't seem to be true judging by what we've all been discussing on RI and other sites. the symbols might not literally do/mean anything, but they mean something to the people that are using them. I think people need to realize that. That even if it looks random and it looks like it's just shock value bullshit (ie the swastika on the forehead), it's significant. I think most of the posters on RI know this, but the general public does not.

The fact that these symbols were used in conjunction with torture and sexual depravity in this type of setting and situation points clearly to some kind of organized ritualistic abuse, IMO. The fact that it was done in a military complex and enacted by soldiers who are known for "following orders" just makes it even more so. And when you think about it, it's kind of indicative of what's going on on a larger scale with the iraq war in general: old chickenhawks using young enlisted men and women to do their dirty work. Hell, if they can someone else's kids to fight their war, why not get someone else's kids to carry out their fucked up twisted agenda, document it and then take the fall for it?

Alfred McCoy

Postby heyjt » Fri Feb 17, 2006 4:03 pm

Professor Alfred McCoy, author of the exellent "The Politics of Herion in Southeast Asia" Was on Democracy Now with Amy Goodman this morning.
He gave the absolute best explanation of how the CIA developed their torture techniques in sensory deprevation and stress positions. They have determined that psychological and "self induced" torture works far better than beatings etc.
"Self induced" refers to stress positions such as standing all day with arms extended etc.
I highly reccomend people try to catch the interview, Democracy Now plays several times on both Link TV and Free Speech TV.

Why do you think a few cartoon drawings created what they did but these Abu Graibe photos and videos go basicly un noticed in comparison.

One thing that got me about the abuse and torture photos is that the same M.O. is being used at places such as Gitmo, Afghanistan, and Abu Ghraib. When Pfc. England and her cohorts were blamed for what happened at Abu Ghraib, they basically got hung out to dry by their superiors.

It's no coincidence that the torture and abuse methods are the same in different places around the world-- hoods, electroshocks, and so on-- they are methods being dictated from very high in the chain of command.
