I don't know that I'd put much faith in his judgement.

The murder of one girl is tragic, but in the "big picture" sadly insignificant. The coverage of this hoax confession is base, tabloid exploitation at its worse- nothing more. The righteous wrath of Arcadia is misplaced, I think. The media institution doesn't give a damn about finding the real killer or seeing "justice" served, they're out to make a buck and protect the establishment like they always do.

The coverage of this fabricated event is worthless exploitation and is taking away steam from other more IMPORTANT stories, like the wiretap rulings in Detriot (and yes, that story is way more important than the death of little Jonbenet). Since the confession seems to be an obvious hoax, and the media attention is so exploitive, so sensationalist, it makes us all pederasts by association-- why give this grizzly freak-show any more attention?

and BTW, Looking at autopsy photos of a little girl as a hobby is ghoulish, and prattling on about her "little hands"... well, it makes one wonder...

There's nothing earth-shattering, or exceptional about this ugly murder except for the imaginary importance ascribed to it by legions of demented pervs who've also "fallen in love with JonBenet"

Edited by: El Tedo at: 8/19/06 12:44 am
