I think it might be "safer" to assume these effects are tricks of memory and not actually evidence of "sliding" tween alternate realities but ... as a Dickhead, and I know 82_28 is as well, the sliders idea is interesting. Cheers and thanks!
Former Hollywood child star Shirley Temple has died.
Curly-haired Temple had her first flim role at the age of three. During the Great Depression she was the country's top box office draw and is still the youngest person to receive an Academy Award.
In later life she carved out a successful career in politics, serving as US ambassador to both Ghana and Czechoslovakia.

Btw the photo of Shirley Temple and J Edgar really creeped me out for some reason.

One of my cohorts (the dude that started this thread) brought this site to my attention today and also the linked photo, from Dazed and Confused. I don't jibe with all of their observations -- including Mandela because I kept up with his life.

However, what is that body of land on the globe west of OZ? I went one further and it is a full on mystery. What's with those "stock" classroom maps? I would sooooo love some higher resolution. The crescent on what appears to be the US and the legend is what I would love to be able to resolve. Florida is also misshapen.
