Should have come with a warning. If this guy isn't a direct CIA asset, I'll be very astonished if he isn't CIA adjacent. Very much enjoyed his insinuations that the obvious effects of 20 years of American siege warfare against Venezuela can be somewhat laconically summarised as 'Communism.' What a prick.
There's something strange happening in stores right now.
We all know and feel that things are more expensive than ever before, but now we don't even know the real price of things we're looking at.
If you walk in with an iPhone, you might pay $2 more than the guy behind you with an Android. If you walk in with a baby, you might start seeing ads for baby products.
Is this what you want as a shopper or are we (Have alreadyentered a dystopian era of shopping?

All the Plenary's Men
ABC News' Elizabeth Schulze investigates the impact of AI data centers backed by the U.S., as they bring the promise of new jobs, but fears of higher utility bills for some residents.
Three residents of Port Washington, WI opposing the data center were arrested at the Common Council meeting on December 2. What transgressions were committed to have a woman simply exercising her first amendment rights to be ripped from her seat, dragged to the ground, and hauled out by law enforcement? This video shows what happened in real time.
Christine Le Jeune of Port Washington and Great Lakes Neighbors United spoke against the proposed $15 billion A.I. data center on the coast of Lake Michigan. As she left the podium the room full of concerned residents began to applaud. As she sat down, she exclaimed “recall, recall, recall”, referring to Mayor Ted Neitzke. The crowd was clapping before and while she chanted, and there was no interruption of the subsequent speaker.
Days later Christine told me, “I am doing okay, still pretty shocked by everything. But looking at the larger picture, I suppose I shouldn’t be that shocked. I’m still processing and am physically sore, but the outpouring of support has been incredible”.
In total, 3 women were arrested for disorderly conduct.
“Great Lakes Neighbors United demands Port Washington PD, Common Council, and the Mayor respect our 1st amendment rights,” the group stated in a press release. “We are saddened and appalled by the events that transpired…Christine was treated with excessive force in a country where all citizens are supposed to have the right to voice their opinion without fear of reprisal by those sworn to protect us. The city and its officials have gone to great lengths to protect the free speech of Vantage, its representatives, and a few data center advocates. The data center project imposed on us by our common council, who have not heeded the community’s vocal opposition to this project, is damaging the city and its residents. Citizens now have to fear they may be arrested simply for expressing differing opinions than the city leaders”.
As of today, the Journal Sentinel’s survey on data centers shows 86% of responders oppose data centers, 11.5% are in favor, and 3% neutral. Vantage is planning to build this to house two A.I. companies, Oracle and OpenAI: worth over a trillion dollars combined. Oracle's owner, Larry Ellison, is one of the richest persons on Earth.
Emily, a librarian and resident of Port, publicly commented, “The information we’ve been given by the City of Port Washington is not only dishonest but it’s clearly biased. We deserve more than a double sided page of ramblings distilled from propaganda derived from two billion dollar tech companies disguised as fact. I would like the Mayor and Council to allow the residents to vote on the biggest development this town has ever seen”.
“Everyone in the city is opposed to this. Don’t sell out our town,” Michael of Port commented.
Input for large projects using public funds/taxes has gone ignored by the city government. This data center will use more electricity than all WI households combined. If non-renewable energy sources are used, its off-site water use would be at least 54 million gallons/day (Clean WI).
A recall petition of the Mayor is in the works.
Several have raised eyebrows at some connections involved with various land transactions. Lynde Uihlein filed a lawsuit alleging officials have not responded to a request for documents relating to the Vantage Data Center (Ozaukee Press).
Bob and Nancy of Port live directly on a power line construction site. “ATC (transmission) came in wanting to buy an easement. Saying, ‘You sign this paperwork. If you don’t sign it, we’re going to enforce eminent domain.’
There were neighbors that were forced out after owning the land for hundred years - they were strongarmed by Vantage".
Neighboring towns are also feeling the wrath, as dairy farmer Jeff Opitz of Saukville told me, “They’re forcing a power line through my property. It's gonna be snapping, crackling, and popping at all times. There’s no way I can operate with that kind of electrical activity around cows”.
Saukville painter Tom Uttech will have power lines ripping through, “See those trees? They’ll cut all them down. They’re coming here because we’re cheap, and because we’re very passive and naive, and we are still subject to the illusion that this is progress”.
“What happened to our rights? I don’t want to go to meetings anymore after last week. You can’t speak out against it," Nancy said.
Dissent is patriotic. Big Tech comes here for our water, our farmland, and they want us to pay for it. They are bringing destruction. The billionaire class doesn’t have our consent. Artificial Intelligence is not inevitable. It’s manmade. We the people have the power to stop extractive industries from destroying our environment, civil liberties, and humanity. We have numbers now, and the truth: Water is Life. Mni Wiconi.
