This energy can turn turbine fans and generate electricity. Ocean turbine power can prove to be a great untapped, renewable energy resource.

When there is a difference in temperature between surface water and the water below, it possesses a great deal of energy. The shining sun heats up the surface water and makes it hotter than the deep, cooler waters. In some areas, the temperature difference can be very high. The greater is the temperature difference, the better is the electricity generation.
