No, I haven't turned into a spam bot, but it might seem that way.
F.lux (here) is free and adjusts your computer screen "temperature" setting to match the time of day. My eyes feel better and I've only had it on a few minutes. Only uses about 11 meg of RAM, too, which is a pittance in 2010.
