Okay, I am currently ensconsed in the Oakland airport waiting area, having cleverly surmounted the various pitfalls of the TSA and Homeland Security with as much aplomb as is possible to muster in a situation in which one must remove one's cowboy boots in the presence of a group of elderly Sikhs, various small and curious children, and my fellow harried travelers and potential detainees. Seattle here I come.

"O Oysters," said the Carpenter,
"You've had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?'
But answer came there none--
And this was scarcely odd, because
They'd eaten every one.

This is weird. I had no idea that this event was being held au natural. I really could have saved on the whole luggage thing had Willow announced that beforehand.

Anyway, beginning to geyt drunk, there's like, a thousand people here, and the whole gang is in full swing, talking behind your back about you.

Wow  There are like, a thousand people here, walking around looking at our paintings    I wasn't expecting this at all--I thought it would be like, PW and maybe 3-4 of us...!

This show is so great--it's such a wonderful idea, to get a bunch of us together Real World-like where we can actually SEE each other's faces as we speak. Frakking amazing.

Gotta go schmooze and act like a real artist....wish all of us could have attended. Maybe next show?

There's all these weird people in my studio, who invited these people? They're all really rude, they're spilling things everywhere and they keep going through my drawers...if they weren't so cute, I'd kick 'em out! Pity for those missing the fun!

Love those prints Annie.

You still owe me one, but I forgot why. I'm trying to send a budding art collector down to the gallery, I don't think he knows what he's missing.

I was there! Along with Col. Alexander, John Mack, Gen. Stumblebum (or whatever his name is), Uri Geller, Jeff Bridges, George Clooney, Kevin Spaced-Out, etc..... via Remote Viewing and Time Travel, and that's not what you were doing Willow. (Didn't you guys wonder about all the bent spoons on the floor at the saloon?)

Thanks for posting your wonderful prints Annie. I hope the other artists will too; I'd like to post mine, for some reason the RI board won't upload files from my computer, but I'll keep trying. Delta, is your son available?

Annie, those are excellent. Considering the confines of my limited perspective of the artworld, I hope you don't mind me saying that some of your prints reminded me of some that I saw recently by Salvadore Dali:
Imagination and Objects of the Future

It sounds like somebody is having some fun this weekend. Watch out for that Barracuda. He's a smoothe talker (especially when he's been drinking, I suspect); as evidenced here from a recent post:
I don't personally care for ad hominems regarding adam's apples. The implication is that Ms. Coulter's rhetorical polemic is too devastating to address on the merits, and I simply do not find that to be the case. She is an unusual looking individual, physically, but, you know what? I've had worse. And you know what? It was terrific.

Good luck with the show.
