I know there is a wealth of informed opinion within these RI forums regarding the State of Israel and Zionism.

Has anyone here watched this documentary or know anything about it or its creator? I'm not sure if the director's name is correct or a pseudonym.

I've only just begun watching it.

"The Zionist Story" - A documentary that explores the ideology of Zionism and its impact on Israel and the Palestinians under occupation.

I watched all 8 parts. It's good. At the end, you find out that the filmmaker is a former Israeli soldier. You see his picture, and the place where he grew up. I'm pretty sure it's his real name.

I'm on part 6, would have liked to have seen more about the early formation of Zionism and its relationship to the other nationalistic movements in Europe pre WW2. Good flick so far and a good intro for those in the US and UK who don't have a clue.
