Maybe I've missed something from the past couple years, but what exactly did McAfee have that was so sensitive as to be a reason for powerful individuals to silence him? I know that back in 2019, he claimed there was a dead man's switch that would release over 31 TB of data about worldwide corruption if he was arrested or otherwise incapacitated, yet he was arrested way back in October of last year and there is no indication that any such release happened.

A possibility, I agree, but is there any real evidence that he was in possession of that kind of information to begin with? Not trying to be confrontational, that's a serious question because I have yet to see any but am interested in seeing it if there is. If the only evidence is claims of McAfee's which are partially contradicted by what's happened so far (in that there's no evidence of any dead man's switch triggering), the simpler explanation is that his claims are just made up as a whole.

Getting subtle messages from U.S. officials saying, in effect: "We're coming for you McAfee! We're going to kill yourself". I got a tattoo today just in case. If I suicide myself, I didn't. I was whackd. Check my right arm.

I guess he must have had a change of heart. You know, since we have been told that he offed himself.

Sure, I understood that, it's possible. I would be very surprised if he didn't have what he said he had. I'd be further surprised if Wikileaks etc are not already or soon to be in possession of it.

Apparently, the image of a large Q was the last post to his instagram account:

Apparently or actually? QAnon is renowned for its screenshots of evidence that doesn't exist.

I also think dead man switches are flawed. The person with one is captured. It can then be made clear that if it triggers while they are in custody you will torture them horrendously or their family etc.

They then have to make the decision of allowing it to trigger while they are alive to be punished, or giving up its location. I suspect this why we hardly hear about any actually triggering a public release. In fact i cannot think of one, though i don't doubt it happens. But it can very much be an alive man's switch
