I can imagine you posting a tirade after the madman turned Utoya into a radioactive pit, screaming

"HOW COULD THE POLICE HAVE INTERVENED?
WHY COULD THEY NOT HAVE WAITED?"

The body of your post is ridiculous because no one here is making the following claim:
That's called a straw man and it's usually considered a fallacy a.k.a. shabby tactic. Happy now?

I have to wonder, if you're so eager to embrace and defend official conspiracy theories, what the hell are you doing here?

Did I say anyone here was making the claim? No. I offered an idea for examination which I feel is the logical conclusion of some of the insistent focus on things like police response times and lack of cell phone photographs as some kind of evidence of conspiracy. It's my opinion, and, in my opinion contains aspects which are interesting to discuss. Apparently Ahab and 8-bit have a similar perspective. So no, that does not fit any known definition of a strawman.

It would be nice if, at some point, you might return to the topic at hand rather than continuing to bait me with more insults. Please.

You started with the insulting and baiting of me (surreptitiously at that), then you refused to admit it or apologise, then you finally admitted it but still refused to apologise, instead threatening me with a suspension of my account for having noticed it and objected to it vehemently, as I have a perfect right to do.

Just for the record.

But I'm out of here now.

I appear to have hit the nail on your somewhat sensitive head.

Alternatives to your way of seeing the situation are seen as "defending the OCT of the day" ? That is sooooo Loose Change Version 1.

One might wonder whether a tad of reflection might be in order or OTOH
might just say "Cheers, Nico I look forward to public performance rants in due course." :lol2:

All posters are doing is spit-balling theories and ideas. I don't get all the hostility. Thats all I'm going to post as I do not post to argue with anyone.

For an alleged narcissist who supposedly put on makeup before launching his Rambo routine, this guy has an awfully bad haircut:

Which makes me wonder, how many "Breiviks" were busy massacring teenagers in that carefully arranged kettle?

You can text safely anywhere, to take a photo or video you need to be in line of sight. And if you know how to shoot a rifle, you know that line of sight is line of fire. Even if you hide in the bushes.

On an island that small, I know I would try to be as far away as possible from an assault rifle wielding murderer. Sure as hell would not try to creep close enough and hidden enough but visible enough to be able to take a picture.

The fact that people feel the need to even discuss this is pathetic. The people who suggest this should be ignored and shunned. They're stupid and insane.

After my banishment I was going to try and kind of post now and then because I do find this forum interesting but I'm under NO illusion that I could safely speculate about anything here without being immediately made the subject of 'satire' by a handful of the usual suspects.

So, that being said I want to make a comment WRT barracuda in this thread.

What was it the ever calm and reasonable SLAD said recently? Oh yeah:

she was talking about someone else of course.. but I think it applies here.

You all don't actually need MORE mods.. you could do with one less, though.

Please don't add to the disruptions of the discussion here, Canadian_Watcher. It's not helpful.
