Maybe the authorities don't yet want to broadcast the fact that the US

...has lost control of it's own "intelligence/security agencies" And want to keep it quite or the citizens will freak out.

With the conventions coming up it will be a further test drive of the incipient police state test drive I feel. Plus at the rate the Cleveland Indians (baseball) are going they could make the World Series. Another good test drive if that happens.

So this 25-year old combat veteran with his own book of tactics gets cornered in a parking garage after walking on the streets and killing an officer on video?? Lone loner alone...
A Facebook photo dated April 30 of this year shows Johnson with Professor Griff of the hip-hop group Public Enemy, known for its politically charged music and critique of police treatment of the African-American community. A 1989 single titled “Fight the Power” is the group’s best-known song. Griff took to Twitter Friday to deny any relationship with the shooter.

“I do not advocate killing cops,” Professor Griff tweeted Friday. “The police and FBI have been watching me and tapping my phone they know who I talk to, I DO NOT KNOW THE SHOOTER,” he wrote in another tweet.
Griff and PE? Dude is 25, there must be tons more radical rappers he could latch onto than one that was peaking when he was born...

I had decided to watch the new OJ doc. the day before this went down...The first episode touches on how OJ disassociated himself from the Civil Rights struggle in the 60s...

It's almost definitely nothing, but in the rooftop video that we keep seeing different versions of, does anyone else keep seeing a mysterious figure approach the far-right door nearest the shooter?

Has anyone here seen footage of protestors / witnesses pointing upwards or at least hearing witnesses mention snipers or seeing gunmen on rooftops? I've wondered from the beginning if all the sniper reports were either mis-attributions of gunfire from police snipers on rooftops; maybe even returning fire at alleged "real" shooters.

Re:LB's question about figure inside door... If you mean inside the building behind and to the left (but the right most door) ... Yes

Uh hmmmmm....another "lone" gunmen in Dallas? Are they really that bad in scripting to play that old card? Me thinks this is much deeper and there is much skullduggery. I can't fathom that sort of script would be repeated. Then again, with a compliant media anything is possible.

Thanks for raising that question elfismiles.
I think we are trying way too hard to fit the reported events into our own preconceived narratives.
And initial reports are always subject to scrutiny as various truths are revealed.
But yeah, its an interesting and revealing thread regardless.

Sometimes a lone gunman on a shooting spree is just a lone gunman on a shooting spree. The main question I have at the moment is how/when did he get down onto street level to do that shooting when he was also moving around the car park building shooting from different positions/levels?

Apparently there were numerous guys dressed in cammo gear with guns slung over their shoulders at the protest (because that sort of thing is perfectly legal to do at public gatherings in Texas, dontcha know), and they were all(?) taken into custody for questioning. Probably they were the "gunmen in custody refusing to answer questions."
