It details claims that a number of young women were put up in apartments in Milano Due, an American-style suburb that Mr Berlusconi built during the 1970s.
Shades of Propaganda Due, if you ask me... Man, that Italian crypto-Fascist scene gives me the heebie-jeebies.

Still not as bad as what was going on in Belgium. Or America, very probably. And Due just means two. Or second. Something like that.

Every time I see this thread title on the forum I initially read, "Berlusconi dies under girl reports."
Is this wishful thinking?

Not so much wishful as amazingly charitable. Since we all have to go sometime, and somehow, I'm sure Il Cavaliere would love to go the same way as
the seventh President of the French Republic:
Faure died suddenly from apoplexy on 16 February 1899, at a critical juncture while engaged in sexual activities in his office with 30-year-old Marguerite Steinheil. It has been widely reported that those activities were oral sex, but their exact nature is in fact unknown and such reports may have stemmed from various jeux de mots (puns) made up afterward by his political opponents. One such pun was to nickname Mme Steinheil "la pompe funèbre" (wordplay in French: could mean both "funeral pomp" and "funeral pump"). George Clemenceau's epitaph of Faure, in the same trend, was "Il voulait être César, il ne fut que Pompée" (another wordplay in French; could mean both "he wished to be Caesar, but ended up as Pompey", or "he wished to be Caesar and ended up being pumped": the verb "pomper" in French is also slang for performing oral sex on a man); Clemenceau, who was also editor of the newspaper l'Aurore, wrote that "upon entering the void, he [Faure] must have felt home".

30-year-old Marguerite Steinheil
30! So old! What the hell was wrong with this guy, couldn't he find any 17 year olds?

I think The Cavalier is just making a big show of admiring Michelle's dress while staring at her crotch and saying "Bwoooaaaah!"
It's called diplomacy.

No surprise at the appearance of uniforms.
Berlusconi criticised for 'use of policewomen's outfits in villa striptease shows'
Documents claim 'bunga bunga' parties involved Italian PM's female guests putting on – and then gradually taking off – uniforms
John Hooper in Rome
guardian.co.uk, Wednesday 19 January 2011 13.13 GMT
Silvio Berlusconi, the Italian prime minister, today came under attack from a new and unexpected quarter when a police trade union objected to the reported use of policewomen's outfits for striptease shows at his home.
According to prosecution documents delivered to parliament, so-called "bunga bunga" sessions at Berlusconi's villa near Milan involved female guests putting on – and then gradually taking off – skimpy nurses' outfits and police uniforms.
Berlusconi, who denies any wrongdoing, said yesterday he had no intention of resigning because of the latest disclosures, adding: "I'm enjoying myself."
Giorgio Innocenzi, the secretary general of the independent police trades union confederation, said that, if the accounts were borne out, "it would be a very serious development that impugns the high levels of professionalism guaranteed by women in the police".
He said the entire police force would feel deeply uncomfortable about wearing "a uniform that would have been held up to ridicule before public opinion, both national and international".

Not so much wishful as amazingly charitable.
Do note, I keep seeing the words "under girl
reports," which could mean, crushed by the weight of many booklength documentations of his grand consumerist transgressions. (Because this seems to be one of his functions: Consumer In Chief.)
How come no one dies of apoplexy anymore?

The Caligulan court of Silvio Berlusconi laid bare
At a certain point, a woman at one of Silvio Berlusconi’s parties says, “a girl started flashing her bottom and the evening took off”.
By Nick Squires, Rome 8:30PM GMT 20 Jan 2011
The Italian prime minister says he has nothing to be ashamed of, and that he has just been having fun. But the sheer mass of sordid details of his “bunga bunga” parties has now been revealed for the first time. The descriptions provided by prosecutors, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, prostitution and sex with an under age dancer, read like a bacchanalia.
One opposition politician has already remarked this week: “Compared with Berlusconi, Caligula was a prude.” And so it might seem from the 389 pages of investigation and full gallery of skimpily-dressed showgirls named in prosecutors’ papers and assembled for the first time by The Daily Telegraph.
“After the meal,” a woman on one of hundreds of surveillance tapes says, “I heard some girls saying 'Let’s go down to the bunga bunga (room)’, a sort of disco with sofas, a dance pole, a kind of bar and bathrooms where the girls changed into revealing outfits.” Half-naked starlets are then said to have performed pole dances, put on stripteases and “wriggled up to the prime minister provocatively on the sofa, rubbing him up and letting him have a feel, indulging in mock lesbian kisses and rubbing against each other”. Another woman is said to be wandering around topless, repeatedly kissing Mr Berlusconi.
...
The wire taps paint an unedifying picture of parents encouraging their daughters to seduce the prime minister in return for money. The father of one woman says: “You’ve had one girl then another get ahead of you ... wake up!” The brother of another told her that Mr Berlusconi “could solve a lot of our problems, for mum, you and me”.

I don't know. It appears to me that were a hug to take place Silvio's face would be smack dab in the middle of Michele's breasts. I used to work with a midget that was overly fond of hugging the female coworkers and he knew what he was doing. BO does appear to me chaperoning the greeting, all puffed up and what not. But he also appears in the photo posted here to be a bit disgusted. I assume the O'bama's know what we know.

Good find, especially the social organization around the Harem. USually, in a culture of "courts" around feudals, the court families served as pimps to their daughters, in order to get higher in the social ladder. The same was formalized in Imperial China , when the place of the concubine was formalized into the law of the land, and determined the fate of her clan. We see the same in the Bible, when minorities competed over the privilege to send their daughters to the court of the ruler, to gain access and status.
The same culture we see here in Israel, when sexuality is traded in a Clan setting, and very much integrated into the work force and public service sector. Added is the Eastern European legacy here, to engage in sex trafficking as a way of life.
Our president scandal is a scandal only because it was exposed. Appears that the big american-imperial sponsored whore house is collapsing, at last.

Silvio Berlusconi hit by drug allegations as well as sex claims
Evidence given to Rome parliament alleges cocaine was found in flat provided to female model friend of Italian prime minister
John Hooper in Rome
guardian.co.uk, Thursday 27 January 2011 14.04 GMT
Drugs today emerged for the first time as an issue in the latest and most explosive scandal involving Silvio Berlusconi's private life.
New evidence delivered to parliament yesterday revealed that almost 3kg of cocaine were found last year in the cellar of a flat allegedly provided free of charge to one of Berlusconi's guests at his villa outside Milan.
Marysthell García Polanco, from the Dominican Republic, is a model and former weather announcer, known among other things for a celebrated appearance in the "sexy car wash" segment of a popular reality show on one of Berlusconi's television channels.
The drugs were part of a haul of more than 12kg allegedly belonging to García Polanco's boyfriend. He was arrested while driving a car belonging to Nicole Minetti, who, prosecutors claim, organised the supply of women for Berlusconi's parties.

Only in the last photo does President Obama smile. Other than that, he looked like he was prepared to slap the lech with the back of his hand if he got out of line.
