Because 'they' are getting closer and closer (and/or are terrified of this leaking to the public domain.........)

- who we actually are, where we come from, how long we've been here, what went before...........

- why it all went to shit (if that is what happened),

- who visited us (if anyone, where they came from - and were they actually us, from a previous civilisational cycle.....)

- yeah, - the whole nine hundred thousand yards.......

- if we're going to pretend we (by which i mean US).....HAVE ONLY WOKE UP SOME (capslockoff).....5 - 6/7 thousands years ago......

you have to divide that into MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of years..........

- I dont know why they would appear to be so scared?.........

that was (may have been) then....._and this is now.

Frustrates the living hell out of me.

- if you can find it..............Antarctica, i reckon - not like i've done no reading - know what i mean?

Doesn't it always come down to money?
Archeologists that start revealing information that defies the status quo will lose funding.
Older civilizations are starting to appear obvious- but the field has a long ways to go to "legitimize" such claims.

Yo, dude, you might not have bought a ticket for this journey, but nevertheless, you're on it and will be till its natural end, so enjoy the show while you can. I know the movie sucks, but the scene's always changing and surely an upcoming one will be more cheery.

Don't expect the world to be at peace if you're not at peace with yourself. Be at peace.

Im always encouraged when I listen to Hancock, because firstly what he's saying makes all the sense in the world to me.

More than that however he appears to understand the fact that many of todays younger intellectuals are no longer falling for the big cultural lie that is being inflicted on all of our lives . From what I can gather, Hilary is struggling hugely amidst the youth in her presidential.campaign

As for the rest of it, like Hancock , im grateful to the Universe for providing me with the gift of life. Like him I also feel with a great degree of certainty, that physical death is not the end, and that were all in this for the long haul, so we'd probably better make the best of being the best we can be.

The only peace we are able to achieve is our own.

Once you realize you have nothing to fear, peace comes easily.

Be at peace, slimmouse.

Thanks for the kind sentiment, and most days I am at peace fortunately.

But the odd intellectual confrontation here and there, where deemed personally neccesary isnt such a bad thing, is it?

It happens, slim. It happens.

I hope you realize my earlier 'yo, dude' comment was directed to znagtnag.

I haven't read much about Hancock, but I'm sure we agree a technologically advanced civilization existed long before our civilization's history began.

Thanks for the links OP, gotta set some time aside to dig in. I've been sitting on an open tab with that collective evolution article for days now... Now tons of video links to add to the head. Looking forward to it. Also encouraged at the following and respect GH is garnering. He seems quite intelligent and sincere.

One of Hancocks pet theories, which is as always hard to argue against when you look at the evidence, is that these Ancient and clearly advanced civilisations, made frequent use of tryptamine laden entheogens. You know, those dirty nasty drugs which the body actually produces :rofl2 .

In the light of the above, this is a nice spot to drop this podcast....
Today’s podcast features the 2016 talk that Professor David Nutt gave at the annual Glastonbury Festival. His topic was “Do psychedelics matter?”.
Although demonised, and attracting severe criminal penalties for users during the half century of the “war on drugs”, psychedelics are now undergoing a renaissance – both in terms of scientific research and in people’s personal and spiritual worlds. It is once again a time of oriented explorations of the mystery of consciousness. As we all know, when it comes to the war on drugs, “the emperor has no clothes”, and there is no one in a better position to say this than a man who once was the UK’s “Drugs Czar” but who lost his position when he began speaking the truth about drugs and refused to continue supporting the establishment’s party line.

I listened to the audio book of Hancock's latest work and I found the geographical info particularly interesting. Massive portions of western Montana were covered by glacial Lake Missoula during the Ice Age. When the lake broke its ice dam it sent unimaginable amounts of water cascading into Washington and Oregon, altering the landscape in ways that can still be seen today. I can't explain it in an interesting way like in the book, but I'm quite familiar with these areas and the whole thing just kinda blew my mind.
