I think the op is a good example of just how far down the hill the election process has fallen because if this issue alone is enough to distract American voters from real issues then we are in big trouble. My money says that this bullshit circus is enough to keep most Americans entertained and distracted from real issues, sadly.

This op is an embarrassment. I agree. It is embarrassing that americans fall for this stupid shit. But at the moment it is one of the main issues being offered for voters to consider so I posted it.

I simply posted the op because I believe the circus around this issue may be getting ready to heat up even more. I also believe the PTB may be getting ready to add to the outrage factor with some new meat for this sorry ass griss mill. I think they may be planning to use this issue to enact some new legislation at some point in the future. I consider that a reasonable suspicion.

i think that's exactly what i'm trying to say. the looooonier the attacks, the better. in the target audience, it narrows the scope of political alternatives they are willing to consider. when the point stays on the outrageously ridiculous distractions, barry and co stay in power. mission accomplished. and worse still, the divided plebiscite polices itself in the constriction of political alternatives. suspicion abounds.
