But in that case it should be the second video that has the "wrong" color balance. Would explain why his hands don't look bloody in it.

I just did a little test and yes, a simple +45degree Hue shift causes the blood to vanish and the street markers to look more yellowish, without much altering the rest of the imagery in the video, except the grass looks a bit more vibrant. It's possible if I spent a few more minutes to apply the hue shift to limited area of the video, so it certainly appears the video was altered to remove the blood.

Just a different hue and saturation in those two videos (blood/no blood).

You may be surprised to learn that TV networks routinely engage in such image tweaking to make crime/accident scenes look bloodier if necessary, not less bloody.

the police and public response were amazing. Only a few shots fired, all HIT, suspects not killed, no bystanders hit. Can you imagine the police response in the US? Minimum 100 shots fired 1 bystander hit, both suspects dead.

Also, if this was the US, the guy probably wouldn't be wielding knives and a banged up old revolver...

and also the news media that I saw didn't stoop to calling the guy a killer outright - they said 'alleged' or 'suspected' or 'supposed' even though the guy was standing there knowingly being recorded, holding a knife, saying he did it, literal blood on his hands with the body across the road from him. That of course is the way its always used to be done even in the US. Remember that? good times...

Exactly Rory. I think the savage nature of this attack is actually more permeating on the British psyche than say, if these two individuals had detonated a Boston like IED somewhere in London. 7/7 attacks aren't very possible these days, meaning people would ask how that could happen since London is beyond big brother. So something much more simple yet savage had to be devised. A literal blood sacrifice in the middle of the road.
I mean even if it turns out to be the work of two wackjob "Islamists", that's literally what this was.

but there was some of it around batman too, but not of this type. It MAY be simply a matter of people thinking this is a road to micro-celebrity and lemminging along, but it can't be ruled out as being part of the Cognitive Infiltration strategy of disruption, could be executed by some potentially quite small group, or all the way to the top, keeping in mind the copycat vlog-sluths are free and act as cammo.
