We lost Sunny to JWs because the temptation of her missionary person was too tempting and believable. Some of us tried to tell her to refuse it all and stick around.

Last time i entertained one at the door for a half hour (they are really good, by which i mean they must have training at it, at steering the convo back to where they want, & stopping you from closing the door!) -
he was real proud of their not refusing anyone - yeah even people with mental problems, after all we're all god's children are we not yada yada.

Wow. I'm shocked.

I think more than a few of us were shocked by Sunny's sudden departure, RocketMan.We all must follow the path our heart leads us. Most will have only fond memories of her contributions to remember Sunny and I'm sure we all wish her well.

It was unexpected and sad news to learn of Prince's untimely death. He was unique and brought pop to new audiences in a way no other before him had. And he was a phenomenal guitarist.

When I turned 11, my parents gave me a transistor radio for my birthday. I listened to it every day that year and decided that the best song of 1984 by far was Let's Go Crazy. I'm still stunned. Prince was one of the all time greats in music. So glad I got to see His Purpleness in concert. RIP.

He was a control freak about his creations, but he was one of a kind. He's left behind a tremendous unpublished library, so in time we'll be hearing more of his work. Sad to lose such a creative artist-person.

Holy shit. I just watched a Prince special on NBC and boy were they ready with the footage/story and interviews. Dare I say, it seemed like it was largely pre-produced. I got no idea, but it seemed like it was already made for a sleek hour long special.
