THE DEMOCRATIC CONGRESSIONAL Campaign Committee warned political strategists and vendors Thursday night that if they support candidates mounting primary challenges against incumbent House Democrats, the party will cut them off from business.
The news was officially announced Friday morning, paired with a statement on the committee’s commitment to diversity in consulting — “which, obviously, is just to give themselves cover,” a Democratic political consultant who learned of it Thursday told The Intercept. The consultant asked for anonymity given their relationship with the DCCC, and the party organization’s professed strategy of blacklisting firms that don’t fall in line.
To apply to become a preferred vendor in the 2020 cycle, firms must agree to a set of standards that includes agreeing not to work with anyone challenging an incumbent.
“I understand the above statement that the DCCC will not conduct business with, nor recommend to any of its targeted campaigns, any consultant that works with an opponent of a sitting Member of the House Democratic Caucus,” the form reads.

All hail the Glorious Infallibility of the Democratic Incumbents! Only they have the necessary experience and acumen to save the Democratic Party from the evil specter of Russian insurgency.

Debbie Wasserman Schulz, how's she doing? Still in a job? (Rhetorical question, because how could she not be? She's doing exactly what she's paid to do, and she's doing it very well. )
Also, please let me know when Ilhan Omar says anything, anything at all, without taking it straight back next day. She too has a job, and she too has no intention of losing it. PR tasks must be performed. Images must be transmitted. Brands must be polished. Radical opposition must be simulated. She's doing just great at all that.

I think I last spotted her boosting the coup in Venezuela...
Ah yes, here we are...
U.S. Reps. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Donna Shalala, a pair of South Florida Democrats, say a weekend trip to the Venzuela-Colombia border shored up their support for Venezuelan Opposition Leader Juan Guaidó.

Yes, evil socialists are everywhere, and true Democrats need to do everything to support those brave enough to oppose their evil.

She is awful, borderline evil.
"I do reject socialism... not the view of the Democratic Party"
"By and large, whatever orientation they came to Congress with, they know that we have to hold the center, that we have to go down the mainstream..."
I love how even Leslie Stahl has to interject: "They KNOW that??"

"Stunning and Revealing" - DCCC Demands Loyalty Oath From Political Consultants
JEFF COHEN: I think that the Progressives are showing that they don’t need the corporate money, that they can get online small donations from lots of donors, and that scares the hell out of the leadership of the Democratic Party, which has relied so heavily on corporate donors. There’s a civil war going on in the Democratic Party and the progressive candidates and politicians are with the base. And the corporate Democrats are increasingly isolated and fearful.

Just tell me if y'all need me to stop bumping this depressing parade of grotesques thread...
Aanyway, here's the latest outrage to decency and human dignity committed by our friends in the Democratic leadership.
After the House Rules Committee released the full list of witnesses who will testify at the first-ever congressional hearing on Medicare for All next week, progressives raised alarm over the lack of single-payer proponents chosen for the panel and worried that what is supposed to be a substantive discussion of Medicare for All could turn out to be a "farce."
As HuffPost reported Thursday, just one of the four witnesses—Dr. Farzon Nahvi, a New York City emergency physician and professor—is "actually an advocate for Medicare for All, the single-payer healthcare system."
"And even then," the outlet reported, "sources tell HuffPost that Nahvi's testimony is supposed to be limited to how patient experience would change. That means that when the Rules Committee convenes this hearing on Tuesday, there may not be any witness testifying who will make the case for Medicare for All over other healthcare plans."

fuck the decision to delete this... When Tulsi went to hug her she was really trying to shut the Afghan/AMERICAN woman DOWN; to stop showing feelings. And speaking truth! That's the same kind of bullshit behaviour my own dysfunctional family does... shuu, please stop showing emotion! Tulsi is seeing that she can't control the message if someone goes all authentic on her.
I see that Majestic-12 [Bot], is here hurry and get it recorded documented!

Nancy Pelosi isn't slightly evil, she is pure evil. Don't doubt for a minute that she isn't aware of the task she is performing. She is perhaps the most right wing person in all Washington DC. She is the boot on the neck of true leftist progressive agenda. Her existence is to support the capitalist model, to foster the climate of war and imperialism, and to maintain the United States's superiority by subverting every other nations. Not only that, Nancy splenetically enjoys the salary delivered unto her hands for supporting the corporatocracy that is the American Empire. These 'middle of the road' democrats are nothing but a dam on evolvement.

Like Dianne Feinstein, Gavin Newsom, and Kamala Harris, she cut her political teeth working against true progressives and for the Chamber of Commerce in highly liberal San Francisco. It's a proving ground for learning to mouth the platitudes while delivering whatever the donor class desires.
