Sexual habits of rams, eh?

In reply to 82 and various others...
Shame is something that humans have culturally attached to sex, to varying degrees, as an instrument of control, especially in patriarchal societies. There is nothing inherently shameful, debasing, or ugly about sex, or our sexual organs, or symbolic representations of them.
Forcing sexual acts on others is traumatizing and is rightly shamed (though on practical, cultural, and institutional levels, not enough), it is equally arguable that repressing and shaming sexual knowledge and desire is harmful. Sex abuse is nurtured in sexually repressive environments, and vice-versa, it's a circular dynamic. The more we do to lessen shame and promote acceptance and openness about human sexuality, the healthier we all will be.
That is one of the philosophical underpinnings of my response to Cilas, but don't assume I'm holding up her act as an ultimate example, I'm just talking back to those who were "offended".
While we're at it, I'd like to fart out loud from now on too.
j/k, c'mon, everybody knows women don't fart either.

Ugh. What a bunch of crap. It's pure shit. Nestle's Crunch style. Makes me want to vomit. I don't really know why this exists. So her daddy wrote some stupid song in the 90's about an achy braky heart I mean is she the daughter of Billy Ray? I can't keep up with these skags. Useless Eastern KY trash.

She used to be a Disney kid. People find it offensive and confusing that she isn't anymore.

Willow, sure, I get all that. But does a motherfucking squirrel or bird fucking get born to exploit in the ways we are capable of? I say it is the acknowledgement of all the things you write above which is ultimately the problem. Everything must be given a definition, cause and reason. Sex has no reason other than for what it is at its source. There is absolutely no question that human males protect the females when we must -- this is why they still say to this day "women and children" when describing atrocities. It was only upon the advent of firearm technology that females were even able to join the great teeming squadrons of freedom on a large scale. Good for them. Yet the squadrons also exist in an existential realm that is not fair to either of us as free and equal entities. We are not born to butt heads nor are we born to just fuck -- nor are we born to perpetually identify the great mysteries of the female humans' innards and her emotional responses. We are not born for propaganda and advertising to inform us about what our roles are, yet we seem to be being hacked. We are born for one another. And we know this and that is my point. Some of us on Earth/Existosphere are here to do good and somehow swim out of the morass that Miley Cyrus just so happens to represent if we can because she does not represent herself, let alone her sexuality. She represents what we are made to think.

MTV are worthy of some scrutiny, though. I don't know about the channel or the awards but am aware MTV Exit regularly tour SE Asia with really bad bands that nobody's ever heard of doing concerts ostensibly to "end human trafficking". What they mean is, sex trafficking. They give out free passes to this 'big day out' in schools and universities and enlist young people to 'fight trafficking', but quite often (as in routinely), conflate trafficking with prostitution. It's basically business for MTV and that's how they run these affairs. In fact there is a lot of corporate sponsorship for 'sex trafficking' - NYT, CNN, fading celebrities and so on. MTV Exit receive sponsorship from USAID & AUSAID & ASEAN
Miley Cyrus still can't stop. Following her controversial performance at Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards, the singer has now gone on to promote her upcoming album, "Bangerz", with some racy new photos, along with a risque new shoot for Notion magazine.
To help promote her fourth album, out October 8, Miley squats on a chair in a pair of black and white checked leather pants while grabbing her crotch, ears a daring see through top and stands looking over her shoulder while wearing no pants in three of the images released by RCA to promote the new disc.
Miley's Notion shoot features the singer in a very risky pvc cutout dress leaving little to the imagination, and, of course, bending forward to show off her behind.
Following her much-criticized performance Sunday night, her father, Billy Ray gave her some words of encouragement. She tweeted what he said...
"Mile, if twerkin woulda been invented.... And I had a foam finger.... I woulda done the same thang you did. - DAD," she posted on her twitter page Thursday.

That is so clearly and concisely put Willow. Well said.
On the "varying degrees" scale I'd place christianity on the far end of repressive, but in a relative sense perhaps I am giving other mind/body splitting dogmas short shrift. I will say though I would miss being naughty.
Have you ever read Wilhelm Reich's Sex-Pol: Essays 1929-1934?

But in a civilized society, there should be a line. Not to mention, the powers that be know that by promoting an atmosphere of promiscuity, and "anything-goes" they're creating the illusion of freedom while they continue their quest to enslave us.
Look at the hedonism of the Wiemar Republic. One of the major reasons that Hitler became so popular is because he was seen as a strong leader who would rid Germany of the moral corruption of the Weimar Republic. It's possible that the ruling classes are setting the stage for a dictatorial leader or administration who will gain popularity because the majority of the nation is fed up with the depraved self-indulgence of society.
“When all is equally agitated, nothing appears to be agitated, as in a ship. When all tend to debauchery, none appears to do so. He who stops draws attention to the excess of others, like a fixed point.”--Blaise Pascal

For example, last night I was called upon to help some women at a bar with a creep. So I did so. I just detracted the guy and laid "ground cover" for the workers there as a bartender not working would. He "really liked" a certain female person's "ears" and told her so. His fucking gaze never left where she was at any given time. So I had to engage the motherfucker in conversation in interest of others. Male to male and caring about the females as opposed to exploiting their very beings because they are my friends. But a male was needed to do this as there are no males on staff to fend off one creepy motherfucker. Miley Cyrus is a friend of no one and perpetuates the truth that there are predators by making it look acceptable and that is my problem as I do not see existence that way. I am, we are, here for one another. She did nothing for any of us and it was rather contrary, the stint detracted from all in a media fueled techno-society intent on yes, as said above, enslaved overall society.
Some of us still remain who reject this and keep fuel from the fire.
Re: THE PSEUDO-SACRIFICIAL "SLUTTING" OF HANNAH MONTANA
So they're winning? Really, I'm so appalled at Miley's disgusting performance and the following outrage that I feel that the penny might finally drop for a lot of people...
Disney, Hollywood and MTV are not your friends. Never have been. They'll make you sick.
