Hello everyone, I just joined this forum on Jeff's invitation. It's possible a few people may have encountered me as @_Satanwatch on X, but I've chosen a milder, blander username here. Anyone care to catch me up on the history of this forum? It looks really cool. I may have possibly encountered this place in the distant past since I used to browse all kinds of conspiracy-themed forums, but if so I don't recall.

And I have already fucked up with a double-post lol, the forum infrastructure here seems a bit creaky...

Hey there, s_w! Good to see you here as I am a followed of your content on X (though I aim to limit my social media/online perusing time of late). I go by Aria Aperta on X.
The search function here is a bit anachromistic (as is this forum/board, generally), but it should give you a pretty good sense of overall themes/topics/shared perspectives.
Or you can start by checking out the first 2-3 pages of the 'General Discussion' section (where this thread is housed) for more recent topics (though the board has been far less active over the last couple years, in part due to buggy code -- which prevented access and ability to reply to posts at times, frustrating many -- though the issues seem to have been recently repaired.
Maybe we can get this board active more regularly again, incrementally.

Jeff inviting people to a board, that the life blood from its creation has since bled out. Inviting to a board he no longer posts to.

Fixed a few typos from my prior post but I believe you all got the gist of my messaging.

There's no way this won't sound anodyne, but isn't the board big enough for everyone?
I won't pretend to be up to speed on all of the disagreements here, but maybe that's good. The issues are maybe irrelevant to my point, which is that you don't all need to be pals, but maybe you do need to give each other some space.
I don't want anybody banned or the board to be heavily moderated. In return, all I'd like is some basic, online courtesy. Like not flooding someone's thread, or driving discussion off topic, or making vicious personal attacks. That kind of stuff.
