Vince --
Reviewing this thread after it moved up recently, I see that you had asked me (two years ago..) if I had any knowledge of Mal's case-full of stuff.
Sorry, but no I don't. Never heard of it until you turned me on to IAAP.

Wow, people are so easily duped. I just watched the trailer for this movie and the voice over (which i am assuming is supposed to be George) sounds so overly dramatic and scripted and sort of sounds like him (it actually sounds like a fake accent to me). If it was recorded in 1999, why didn't he have this videotaped as opposed to just an audio recording to lend more veracity to this claim?
Paul McCartney has his 68th birthday coming up on June 18th. Or does he? MVD Visual announces the release of a film from Highway 61 Entertainment: PAUL McCartney Really Is Dead, The Last Testament of George Harrison for North American distribution on September 1, 2010. The following description of the film is provided by director Joel Gilbert of Highway 61 Entertainment:
"In the summer of 2005, a package arrived at the Hollywood offices of Highway 61 Entertainment from London with no return address. Inside were two mini-cassette audio tapes dated December 30, 1999 and labeled 'The Last Testament of George Harrison.' A voice identical to Harrison tells a shocking story: Paul McCartney was killed in a car crash in November of 1966 and replaced with a double! British intelligence, MI5, had forced the Beatles to cover up McCartney's death to prevent mass suicides of Beatle fans. However, the remaining Beatles tried to signal fans with clues on album covers and in songs. Until now, the "Paul is Dead" mystery that exploded worldwide in 1969 was considered a hoax. However, in this film, George Harrison reveals a secret Beatles history, chronicling McCartney's fatal accident, the cover up, dozens of unknown clues, and a dangerous cat and mouse game with 'Maxwell,' the Beatles' MI5 handler, as John Lennon became increasingly reckless with the secret. Harrison also insists that Lennon was assassinated in 1980 after he threatened to finally expose 'Paul McCartney' as an impostor.
"Highway 61 Entertainment has corroborated most of George Harrison's stunning account of the conspiracy to hide McCartney's tragic death. Harrison's complete audio tapes narrate this film that includes all the newly unearthed evidence. The Last Testament of George Harrison may prove to be the most important document in rock and roll history, leaving little doubt that Paul McCartney is really dead."

Personally, my favorite ludicrous assertion so far is this, from 82_28's link on the previous page:
"Sgt.Pepper" was the first album with the photos of Faul, but they needed to be retouched.
This album cover is full of messages.
Many of those that you have discovered are true, others are not, others have been badly interpreted.
One of the most important is "Welcome The Rolling Stones" written with blood.
We hadn't had news about who it was that had killed Paul and John was sure that the Rolling Stones were involved as they were well-known as delinquents.
The crowd is made up of the people that Paul would have wanted at his funeral.
Oh, that is just so delightfully and deliriously wrong and absurd in every single way imaginable, I practically want to marry it. Because it makes me that damn happy.
Plus, according to the same source, Brian Epstein died at the same time Paul did, in September 1966. Rather than August 1967, the date that's more conventionally accepted by suckers and people who simply don't pay enough attention to details. That's a new one to me, personally. And it does make me wonder:
Whom, exactly, was being twitted by the lone vocal track in the chorus at the end of "Baby, You're a Rich Man" -- a song generally thought to be about Epstein, as well as one that was recorded in May of 1967, with personnel including, for some unaccountable reason, that well-known delinquent, Mick Jagger, assuming that the contemporaneously noted session credits are anything to go by -- on which someone who sounds very much like John Lennon is singing "Baby, you're a rich fag Jew"?
Because you can definitely hear that someone is, and quite clearly, too. Here. Starting at @ 2:36- or 38-ish.
Which certainly would have been quite characteristic of the non-propriety-respecting late John Lennon's love of word-play and not at all an unaffectionate gesture on his part. Assuming that Brian Epstein was still alive at the time, and also that it was indeed John Lennon who was singing those words, of course. And while I totally don't mind making a fool of myself by taking that first point for granted, the second one is more along the lines of something that I believe but don't feel completely confident in asserting as fact.
Because, you know.....There's an awful lot of double-tracking going on in there. As there often was with vocals on rock records at the time. I mean, the world of advanced audio-recording technology was still strictly an eight-track affair when they broke up. There were only so many places a doubled vocal could go.
Anyway,
Um....Turn me on, dead man.

Woah! C2W comes out swinging!
The Faul advocates are reeling from some pretty heavy blows there.
Me, I'm back thinking its a load of old rubbish again. But then, I am notoriously suggestible and given to lurid flights of speculative fancy. So, you know, I'll likely change my mind later. I'm agnostic, yeah thats what it is. But highly sceptical in this case.
But but.. he does look a bit taller... and longer in the face...
And is the post Beatles Paul really the same musical "voice" as before? Has any technical analysis been done? Perhaps Faul is simply a talented songwriter in his own right, alternatively his material is secretly written for him by same. The latter is beyond credibility I suppose.
I guess he does sound pretty much the same. But wouldn't that be the whole intent and focus of an imposter? I mean, if they didn't sound and look the same, they would be failing pretty badly. Let's assume it is a professional project.
What does Ringo say I wonder? Does he punch those who ask him like a certain moon hoax sensitive astronaut?
I still don't have time to watch all those iamaphony vids though. I probably should be thankful for that. That letter allegedly written by George at the digilander address sure looked like a hoax though.

One of the links, on one of the many pages of this thread actually debunked all of the supposed discrepancies of the Paul photos.
I looked for it the other day and couldn't find it. darn.

Look like Mr, PHONY is trying to combat the DVD with the George Harrison impersonator! Since, it appears like HE'LL be making his own 'movie' for download at the end of the year!

Grandfather Alistair has made a new vid, too. Though it's mostly about Manson, and the 'coinsidence' that the Tate/Labianca murders happened on the same day as the opening of Disney's Haunted Mansion.
cute.
On his current tour, Paul has been playing a tribute to his assassinated partner John Lennon, "Give Peace A Chance." You might think the peace prize prez would want to continue the charade and sing along with that one. The grand finale to give the world 'hope.'
But na na na na na na na. Hey Jude got the finale honor with everyone joining in on stage...

This is off-topic but I have to just say here that I am so sick of that ridiculous fake Obama smile.
He's "The Smiler In Chief". That's his job. That's all he does.

@compared2what: I listened again, and no way does Lennon sing "rich fag Jew."
That's really crazy.

The whole performance = Irony.
Watch the facial expressions of Obama and Paul throughout.

Nothing we haven't seen before....... HOWEVER, Paul fans got a special free download of Paul in Lagos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQjKaIP6QWE
..just some home movie footage, but it DOES have a 'whiff' of IAMAPHONY-style editing to it!
