How do I move to Norway? I visited it as a child and found it to be the most beautiful place I'd ever seen, and I still think that about the place.
Plus people ask me if I'm from there anyway, so I might as well move there, right??
Tbh I have no idea how to move here, but I would guess the consulate in L.A. is a good start.
Or, if you like ice and polar bears (and no sun 24/7 for weeks on end every year), you can always move to Svalbard. The US is a signatory to the Svalbard treaty, so US citizens have all the same rights there as Norwegians. And there's no taxes there, which means that prices are borderline sane (unlike the mainland).

This thread is so great. Norton, your image looks pretty, but I'm squinting.
I'm home for a few days in between travels to distant shores. Hoping to extend summer awhile longer.
Last week, then next week.

That's amazing. Looks a bit like King's Landing from Game of Thrones. I want to go, now.
Dr. Evil clearly lives in the backdrop to that place where the giant eagles took Thorin in the Hobbit movie. Erebor, that's the place. Recognise it anywhere.

Ah, but you are wrong! I actually live on Hoth
(Not even joking. They filmed the Hoth scenes at Finse, which is just within county borders.)

I find myself mired in the past these last few weeks, studying - literally - thousands of photos from my Dad's side of the family that I'never knew existed. Dad would've been 100 years old this year. His father died the year I was born. I snapped a few pics to share with you here.

Dad, on the left, looked a lot like I did.
His father is the 6th dude from the right on the top row in this picture.
Great-grandpa on a plane.
There were a bunch of turn of the century OK small town photographs.

Christmas Day walk across the lake. A snow squall was blowing towards me. About 30 seconds after taking this picture, I was immersed in my own personal blizzard.
