Interesting wikipedia entry. Haven't had an inclination to look up Babylon Bee's 'origins' as they're not a news org. I generally find their satire amusing, and in instances like the above, on-point.

One needn't be 'christian', 'conservative', or 'evangelical' to appreciate it, of course.

Appreciated, all good! I was/am dyslexic, or possibly just a victim of look-see, I don't know. I've never been bothered by being corrected on spelling or grammar unless it's a put down.

Ukraine doesn't need them to fight, it needs them to die. Dead foreign nationals in the headlines is ammunition for the propaganda war, which is the only one they are really fighting. Reminds me of Churchill and the British designing those cruiseline ships that doubled as gunboats and munitions carriers. They packed American civilians onto those things for month, charting them through German submarine territory in the hope of bringing the United States into the war. Finally got their wish when the Lusitania sunk. I remember reading that the Germans were even taking out ads in the New York Times telling Americans not to get on these ships.

The British were sneaky like that. You never knew what they were up to, then all of a sudden they have all of your spices.

So now negotiations can make progress. What a shame all that destruction and suffering had to take place to get here...
