Wait, so that video clip you posted upthread (of the lunar module supposedly detaching itself, on its way to the -- unseen -- command module) was meant as
corroboration of the moon landing narratives? I presumed it was meant as a form of satire; the video looks almost comically doctored. But I'm willing to accept it's merely my imagination.
That said, BenD, far be it from me to doubt your anecdote (shared within the link you provided); but your experience doesn't
prove the moon landings occurred as depicted. Clearly,
big lies require
big preparation,
big funding, and
big staging.
A rocket can take off and orbit for as long as needed to maintain a narrative. Thousands of NASA employees needn't "be in" on what may be actually going on up there; only a relative few need to be aware of ulterior motives, and even then, they'd be fed information on
a need to know basis, perhaps with a bit of misinfo sprinkled in as well to minimize potential blowback. Variations of this form of information control are routinely implemented by the military and intel agencies as a means to keep secrets contained. Even those at the top of the communication pyramid may not be privy to the End Game.
As we've seen thoughout recent history, we are dealing with adepts in the dark arts -- misdirection, smoke and mirrors, disinfo; these tactics have been employed throughout history to shape storylines and manipulate sentiment among 'observers', particularly during Big Story/Paradigm Shifting Events.
(Of course, it may well be, as alluded in the thread you linked, the hoax storyline itself is a misdirection as a means to keep persistent/pesky inquisitors off the trail of what's actually going on up there on the moon... No way to know definitively without going up there ourselves, and that ain't happenin' anytime soon).
There was another point raised in your linked thread, along the lines of, "if the moon landings were faked, Russia would have been all too eager to expose the hoax."
Perhaps a deal was made to keep the Russian Bear silent..
Around the time we were fighting communism in Vietnam (and other countries in south-east Asia) we began to sell Russia, later to be called the Evil Empire, wheat by the mega-ton at an ultra-cheap price.
On July 8, 1972 our government shocked the entire world by announcing that we would sell about one-fourth of our entire crop of wheat to Russia at a fixed price of $1.63 per bushel. According to these sources we were about to produce another bumper crop while the Russian crop would be 10-20 percent less. The market price at the time of the announcement was $1.50 but immediately soared to a new high of $2.44 a bushel.

America Gets the Shaft
By Mark J. Penn,
November 16, 1973
The 1972 U.S.-Soviet grain deal was an economic Bay of Pigs for the Nixon administration. Henry A. Kissinger '50 led the ill-planned and uncoordinated foray into Soviet economic policy which resulted in disastrous consequences for U.S. markets and international prestige.
Don't mind me, however. I'm merely an anonymous handle on an obscure forum, sitting in my chair in a comfortably ventilated room, ruminating on readily available information gleaned from a global repository created by a govt agency. Physics tells me there's a chance everything outside my window, along with me and my chair, are all part of an elaborate simulation or hologram. Clearly, my typed words should be taken with a grain of salt.
