In this instance:
- Found after living for 5 years in a posh villa near Pakistani military installations
- No Pakistani involvement - really!
- Instant DNA analysis (matched against what?)
- Burial at sea (has had me laughing all day)
- The OBL "video" history as well as reported career
- The past history of stage-managed post-reality propaganda events a la Lynch, spider hole, etc.

These should be enough for the healthy skeptic to start. And then you attend to details and claims as they come out. (Not via random people's FB pages, however.)

The random-number games and mystic date stuff is just setting up for this case's new red herrings a la Harley Guy and no-planes.

You wonder about the timing? The combination with the White House Correspondants' Dinner roll-out of Obama Born-in-the=USA is not enough?

Bruce, the Bhutto video is so obviously a misstatement, of no more evidentiary significance than when someone mixes up Osama and Obama in speech (which I've already done twice today, very much to my chagrine).

What makes it "so obviously a misstatement?"

Saying that a person was murdered isn't really analogous to falling into the rhyming alliteration trap of Osama/Obama.

I mean, it absolutely could be a misstatement, and I presented the video without any commentary, allowing it to stand or fall on its own merits, but Bhutto also could have simply been stating what she believed was a fact.

Unfortunately, Frost didn't ask her to clarify (even though most mildly curious human beings would have), and soon after that she became permanently unavailable for comment.

Either way, a video of a prominent politician mentioning that Bin Laden had been murdered in 2007 is certainly of at least fleeting relevance in a thread discussing whether or not that same man was assassinated yesterday.

I guess I'm in the tiny minority a) who not only doesn't care about the birth certificate (which is presumably most people) but b) who also, in the incredibly unlikely case that it was faked, would actually respect the Kenyan Maoist Agent immeasurably more for sneaking in and getting himself elected president of this racist mess of a country. That would be a formidable trick, compared to my trivial thought that he became president because he was the square-shouldered well-spoken fellow whom the corporate campaign financers thought gave the best pitch.

Somewhat hilarious all this, about respecting Muslim traditions and so on. And the BBC killing Obama. Something to think about: when they killed Pablo Escobar in similar fashion, when he was #1 most wanted and was hunted down by spec ops in a client state which was his home base, after probably having been working for the Americans, look what they did to him. Put a bullet in his forehead, then shaved his 'tache to make him look like Hitler. The "Hitler moustache" is, of course, also favoured by Charlie Chaplin, Robert Mugabe and Richard Herring, but it was clearly meant to make him look like Hitler.
