It's funny how narratives change over time and how the enormous sacrifice Russia made for freedom is minimised or forgotten

Yes, and in US media I keep hearing Russia referred to as "our adversary" and "the enemy" etc.—an extraordinary characterization begging for trouble.

NATO seeking to hire Russian-speaking actors for alliance’s MILITARY DRILLS in Bavaria

NATO is advertising for Russian-speaking actors to play civilians in military drills amid escalating tensions with Moscow.

The casting call was posted by German recruitment agency Optronic HR GmbH, which specialises in enlisting extras for military exercises conducted by NATO and the US military.

It wants actors to represent Russian-speaking ‘Civilians on the Battlefield’, such as farmers or shopkeepers, in unspecified conflict regions.

The actors are needed for the upcoming exercises starting on April 28 at a US training base in Bavaria, southern Germany.

The job spec says Russian-speaking actors will provide a “realistic practice scenario and therefore ideal preparation for upcoming deployment of the soldiers to conflict regions”.

The ad also says 10 “villages” of 10 to 30 houses will be built for the war games, and applicants are expected to stay there for three weeks to create conditions for the US military “as close as possible to the real ones.”

Some 30 to 100 extras are required for each village, indicating the approximate scale of the exercise.

The actors are banned from leaving the territory of the training base during the drills, as well as from using mobile phones and other gadgets “for security reasons.” They are also banned from consuming alcohol.

The ad states the actors will be provided with special vests with infrared sensors for the military to calculate how many civilians “suffered” during the “fighting.”

Optronic HR GmbH states on its website: “Our objective is to familiarise soldiers with the language, religion, customs and morals of foreign cultures in different countries.

This approach develops the basis for successful exercises in a challenging environment and therefore ideal training results.”

NATO has repeatedly voiced concerns over what it dubbed “Russian aggression” following Moscow’s reunification with Crimea and its alleged role in the eastern Ukrainian crisis and has responded by carrying out a series of military exercises across eastern Europe.

no worries Donald Trump's in charge now
Donald Trump Is An International Law Breaker
By Colonel W. Patrick Lang

April 08, 2017 "Information Clearing House" - Donald Trump's decision to launch cruise missile strikes on a Syrian Air Force Base was based on a lie. In the coming days the American people will learn that the Intelligence Community knew that Syria did not drop a military chemical weapon on innocent civilians in Idlib. Here is what happened:

The Russians briefed the United States on the proposed target. This is a process that started more than two months ago. There is a dedicated phone line that is being used to coordinate and deconflict (i.e., prevent US and Russian air assets from shooting at each other) the upcoming operation.
The United States was fully briefed on the fact that there was a target in Idlib that the Russians believes was a weapons/explosives depot for Islamic rebels.

Louise Mensch is a despicable piece of shit.

The so-called explosive was lighter fluid with some bits of steel wire taped to the outside (not nails as some people are claiming), or as the police put it :"It had very little damage potential".

The police interviewed the kid two years ago for being online friends with a guy who's now in Syria, but he vehemently denied supporting IS specifically because of the violence they employed.

The most likely explanation is kids being kids and blowing stuff up in remote places just because.
(If we had these laws when I was a kid I would probably still be in jail. We used to blow up the sheriff's mailbox every new year. It was traditional.)

LOL, or something:
Trump says Nato 'no longer obsolete'

BBC From the section US & Canada

US President Donald Trump has said Nato is "no longer obsolete", reversing a stance that had alarmed allies.

Hosting Nato Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the White House, Mr Trump said the threat of terrorism had underlined the alliance's importance.

Ah, right, "the threat of terrorism" has changed everything, suddenly.

It'll be exciting to see how #TheResistance responds to this latest "bold move" by the newly-Presidential President.
