Dude, I've read that stuff. I'm not sold and will never be, but that has nothing to do with who or what is being said to be the evil-doer.

It runs completely counter to everything I know about the world (not much, but it's something, and it's all I've got anyway) for there to be just one. Ever. That's always myth, never truth, in my experience. I mean: At hidden levels. Obviously, if Israel (or the US, or the UK, or Jews, Christians, whomever) does something, they did it. But the stuff you can't see upfront is a multi-party affair, with trade-offs among powers.

Also....Honestly, I suspect such narratives on the grounds that they're a little too aggressive about telling me where to look. I like to keep my options open. And to direct my attention where I choose. You know what I mean, right? I mean, if I always looked for anti-Semites, that's obviously all I'd ever see, and anyone else who wanted to would be free to rob me blind and lead me off a cliff while I wasn't watching for it.

I'd be pro-Israel, for example. So I'm inclined to be wary about that stuff. That's just me.
