Ah! Now I know more:

TORONTO - The Kids in the Hall make their long-awaited return to series television in January with their dark comedy, "Death Comes to Town," the centrepiece of CBC-TV's winter lineup.

The beloved comedy troupe are among the Canadian personalities offering snippets of new series bound for the public broadcaster.

Their miniseries "Death Comes to Town," is billed as a suspenseful murder mystery and is expected to debut in January alongside the Newfoundland-based detective drama, "The Republic of Doyle."

...

The Kids' eight-part comedy is about the murder of a high-profile citizen in small-town Ontario and will feature the comics in multiple roles.

Thanks Mac, I have seen that one before, but it still makes me laugh (and my Mum too - she has somehow found a way to fancy Michael McIntyre... I don't even want to talk about it...)

His analysis of the terror attacks on Glasgow Airport was good as well:

And hurrah for the return of the Kids In the Hall. I grew up on them too, oddly enough - they were late night on Channel 4 when I was still at school. The Girl-Drink Drunk has remained my all-time favourite, even as I shamefully turned into him:

Saw a comedian today named Eugene Mirman. A standup routine he did on Comedy Central. The guy's really funny.

I enjoyed his first link on the page. Haven't watcjhed the others yet.

Eugene Mirman On Detroit: ..."...When bears start gentrifying the outskirts of your city...you're in trouble"

It's not really funny 'cos it is actually true, so far as I can tell.

But it's still funny. So he wins.
