Nothing has shifted, except that the boundary of legitimate discourse has become ever more tightly corralled. The quantity and pervasiveness of the propaganda has grown beyond conscious recognition as the scale of murderous ambition of the owner class has become awe inspiring
I'm perceived as far right by the standards of many and also as far left by others, a clear indication that either term is now functionally illiterate. The truth is, I haven't changed much at all. Everything else has simply shifted around me on the tide of limitless propaganda for neoliberalism that we know as our culture. Former friends are lost in a maelstrom of identity-phobia as new friends have been made, and other friends remain true. Look to Ukraine for your future, for there it truly is, if the shit that runs our world is allowed by us to have their way.

Well, said, I've experienced the same even on this board. Maybe I'm just an idealist in a world that has run out of idea's. Or more likely been only given one way to think. By the likes of Tavistock and it's five eyes equiv.

Yes, I'm enjoying my status as a "right winger" now, after a long lifetime of being "liberal".
It's actually hilarious.
And it's darkly, sadly, humorous to see self-described liberals now being the most intolerant, anti-science, dogmatic, judgmental assholes on the entire planet now.

I think Trump was the psyop that made them all lose their freaking minds. They're never going to recover. TDS is a lifelong affliction that makes your brain shut off and makes you consumed with an eternal seething hatred.
