‘Gospel of Intolerance’ article at link

We need to pass a law banning missionaries perhaps?

I don't know, that's probably not best, but these fucking assholes disgust me.

did you know the whole concept behind the Terminator franchise was stolen from a smallish 1966 movie called Cyborg 2087?

Thank You, winter2, for the Geoffrey West on Complexity video.

Drew, I’m always entertained or fascinated by numerous music videos and documentaries you’ve posted. Thank You. This one, in particular, The Gospel of Intolerance: American Evangelicals Finance Uganda’s Antigay Movement documentary is troubling, and my feeling about those Christian Pentecostalists, fundamentalists, dominionists and reconstructionists—whose predisposition expressed by their relentless behavior, supported by billions of dollars, to change other people’s minds by praying for domination on every continent “in the name and power of Jesus Christ, offering his gift of eternal salvation to everyone before his return to earth”—is rancor, and those particular male- and white-dominated Christian behaviors shameful. Gladly, we read on the final screen of that video:

Feeling rancor is too heavy to carry around, so it’s surrendered while listening to performances, for example, by Barry Douglas, an Irish-born pianist.
