My girlfriend flinches when I give her a fake punch to her cheek when I am kidding around. Much like my departed dog did when she would see my feet -- she would run away. She obviously had been kicked around before I adopted her. Maybe so, maybe no.
I asked her if she had been beaten around before. She said no. But her flinch comes automatically. So, I don't believe her in that regard. I don't think that people flinch around people they love if something awful has happened before. I dunno. Just gonna take her word for it. But something triggers her.

Maybe RI isnt the place for this kind of deep excavations anymore but I for one am interested in your story; there's no substitute for direct involvement/experiential testimonies. A lot harder for the "skeptics" to scorn too, since it goes against their PC-training.
Re: reddit: can't you tip them off yourself? Last I heard anyone could post there.
Don't you see how associating stories like 4B's with unsubstantiated sensationalism that came from a partisan political campaign discredits what he is saying in other people's eyes?
I don't see how he could not see that. Misery loves company?
It is narcissistic manipulation and it is abusive in itself.

As I've stated in other controversial threads, I'm always willing to revise my opinion based on additional data (or lack thereof). Since we actually have someone here who has met Arrington de Dionyso and he checks out, I'm willing to back away from the idea that his art provides a sinister context.
Still: the photo of the child restrained is pretty fucked up, and it's hard to imagine a context which would make it OK, especially since in most jurisdictions I know of it would be ipso facto evidence of child abuse. I mean, it would likely be sufficient justification for CPS to swoop in and whisk the child away to foster care (or god knows what other hell). It's telling that some of you are willing to dismiss the evidence without having viewed it.

You mean the one with the kid whose hands are "taped" to the table?
Re: What's Happening? It? (TRIGGERS UPON TRIGGERS)
People who are quick to dismiss this should read the text summary up on voat right now. If you are dismissing the data dump because you can't be bothered or "it's too disturbing", but you still insist this is hysteria resulting from application of "critical thinking skills of a headless newt", then I think it says more about you than it does about me. If you've read the thread and still disagree with me, then, fine, we can discuss like equally informed adults.

Long summation; the guy makes some leaps and lets his outrage undermine his presentation, but it's an impressive compilation of evidence.

^^^^ Yeah, that's why I don't like video. The text version has lots of links that can be followed up.
Again: I am not 100% decided on this, so I'm open to other views that can explain the same data. But it's telling when someone dismisses my critical thinking skills without having evaluated the same data set, and asserts "no way I'm looking at that".

Also Kline has been disconnected as it was misinformation.
Re: What's Happening? It? (TRIGGERS UPON TRIGGERS)
I am so fucking confused about everything. Another is that I have long used a spoof of fake events held at pizza joints. I would go around to the various places with my absurd sign up sheet for "The Pizza Olympics". People would sign up. I even included some photo of a man and woman wrestling in dough or something I found online in the nascent Internet of the mid 90s. It's been a long time (going on 25 years) since I did it. But I am officially creeped.
However, believe me, I wasn't one of "them". It was just a gag, prank to see how many people would fall for it and sign up. I would roll by the places I asked to put the sign up sheets up and laugh my ass off at the people who believed that shit. Not in their face or nuthin'.
But good god, that is one haunting display of information. I am still chilled to the bone. Thanks for the link though, guruilla.

Weird because I found that to be one of the least disturbing pictures. It appears to be intended as a joke, and it looks a lot different if it isn't on a page filled with projection, hyperbole and unsourced creepiness like most of the pgate "research" pages are drenched in.
I've spent the equivalent of about a day reading this stuff, so I am not entirely unfamiliar with the source material and also various layers of poorly sourced (I.e. entirely unattributed) add on. I gave up on these varying "movements" as much isn't even coherent and freely mixes complete nonsense with real information.
Now I am just reading the emails as a whole. This will likely take months to finish.
Re: What's Happening? It? (TRIGGERS UPON TRIGGERS)
Yup, but to my knowledge Rao has not been debunked.
Although the connection is less clear.
The problem is that people are making videos and shit that contain misinformation before they're even finished. This isn't helpful to convincingly presenting an argument on this scale.

Fair enough, that's why I think context is important in evaluating the instagram photos. Here's the thing about that masking tape photograph. It may be a joke. But consider that in a hospital setting, if you put up all 4 rails on a bed to make sure a frail patient is safe, it is still considered unlawful restraint and an institution will receive a violation if caught doing that. Now imagine restraining a child or frail elder in the same way that child was (or similar) and compare. Do you see why I have a problem with that photo? Again, it may be harmless, but it is likely at least technical child abuse, even though it may have been a joke. Add in all the photos with babies next to currency, and it starts to sound like Alefantis' social network has an inside joke about child abuse and CP. OK, that still may just be a joke (I mean I sometimes say "I hate children" when of course I mean I hate dealing with their misbehavior and, usually really, their annoying parents). But all the other weird social network connections (e.g. the fact that convicted pedophiles, e.g. Dennis Hastert, seem to be part of that social network) then it starts to look worse and worse.

The other thing that is weird is the way that the "fake news" narrative began ever so slightly before pizzagate, gained some traction in the media, and then you have NYT issuing their "debunking" (without actually addressing any of the substantive claims) almost the same day that the subreddit is taken down. It feels a bit coordinated to me. One of the sub's major contributors presented evidence that looks like conclusive proof of interference by intelligence agencies, and it seems very damning except for the fact that it could be a well-constructed hoax. But if it's true, then interference by intelligence agencies is enough to prove that there is fire underneath all that smoke.
I'm willing to entertain the idea that none of this is "real" but rather a psy-op designed to motivate coordinated censorship. And of course it may still be a bunch of internet hysteria. I'm revising my Bayesian posteriors to 15% hysteria, 45% real, 35% psy-op, 5% something else I can't possibly understand.
