The velvet masks are coming off fast. This, at least, is useful and reliable information. Should come in handy in the near future. [starts making full-scale functional guillotine]

Scott A McMillan is a "CA Attorney".

Anyway, it's a thing now ...mostly financial types, oh and politicians...

Interesting things, viruses.

Generally, it's not that virus itself that makes you sick, but the body's auto-immune response to the virus.

Wooo... 'meta'.

They used to refer to 'pneumonia' as 'the old man's friend'.

Somebody said recently: "I've watched Trump, "Boris", "Bibi", and Macron on TV this week. And Xi. They all looked nervous, and no wonder. They all know how Hitler and Mussolini ended."

There will be hell to pay, either by them or by us.

You mean... just like vaccines? (Except that vaccines generally don't kill you – they just make you chronically ill with one or more auto-immune disorders, which I would think is far more profitable for the pharmaceutical industry [and their governmental enablers] over a lifetime than something that just kills you off within days or weeks.)

Gilead, of course. Fans of Atwood? High priests of the new religion, certainly. Hugh? Are you there?

I had a dream last night that the imagined illuminatoreptileworldprder top brass weighed the threat of what Bernie implied was coming against the potential impacts of unleashing COVID and they picked the latter.

There is balm in Gilead,
To make the wounded whole;
There's power enough in heaven,
To cure a sin-sick soul.

OK, but the devil runs this fucking place.

This virus is nothing more than a scapegoat for utter and sudden financial collapse caused by greed, total lack of regulation, and corruption in our governments. Worldwide.

The IMF warned quite brazenly of the last collapse, and they just warned that this one was not only coming but that it would be the biggest since the Great Depression. Which is suddenly looming as now they’re predicting a 30% unemployment in the US, and the peak number in the Great Depression was 24.9%.

Funny, no mention of a pandemic or virus being involved in this collapse what-so-fucking-ever.

“WASHINGTON - IMF Head Kristalina Georgieva warns of a return of the Great Depression driven by inequality and financial sector instability in a speech delivered at the Peterson Institute of International Economics. Georgieva highlighted new IMF research that compares the current economy to the "roaring 1920s" economy that culminated in the great market crash of 1929.

"The IMF delivered a stark message about the potential for another massive financial disaster that we last experienced during the Great Depression," noted United Nations finance expert and Jubilee USA Director Eric LeCompte. "With inequality on the rise and concerns of stability in the markets, we need to take this warning seriously."

Biblically illiterate, I blame my parents. Speaking of devils, SFGate 2003:

Although his company was on track, Riordan began reducing his role at Gilead in the mid-1990s. To Bischofberger, Riordan seemed like a man "who woke up one morning and felt that life was passing him by."

Riordan ceded his position as company president to Martin in 1996, and eventually left the board of directors, which had a stunning lineup of his recruits, including Donald Rumsfeld, who later left Gilead to become President Bush's secretary of Defense. Through Rumsfeld and his connections in the Republican elite, the Gilead board also landed former Secretary of State George Schultz. Also serving on the board are Nobel Prize winner and Stanford Professor Paul Berg and Intel co-founder and chairman emeritus Gordon Moore.

Shurely, in this time of [checks notes] unprecedented global emergency, our heroic billionaires will not leave us in the lurch?

Shurely Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, will empty their pockets and muck in with the plebs and prove themselves stunning and brave?

Shurely they are not laughing while hiding out in their heavily-guarded mansion-compounds?

Shurely this is not a giant scam?

Shurely they will save us?

Shurely??

Pepe Escobar is asking similar questions.

WILL EXCEPTIONALISTAN COME CLEAN - IN SIX QUESTIONS

"Chinese virus"?

OK. Now answer these questions - and then you (may) get away with it.

When did patient zero popped up in the US?

How many Americans are REALLY infected? Flu does not count.

Where are they - in which hospitals?

Why were US health authorities FORBIDDEN to test for Covid-19 after the WHO issued an unmistakable red alert in EARLY JANUARY?

Why the CDC coronavirus discussions are CLASSIFIED?

Why the coronavirus discussions in the US take place in Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facilities - which are the domain of INTEL AND MILITARY OPS?

I bet there will be ZERO answers to all of these questions.

Yep, I too keep laughing out loud when I listen to the radio. And if we're talking Hollywood, I keep thinking of that scene in Close Encounters when Richard Dreyfuss drives past all those dead cattle and wonders if this "deadly gas escape" thing is for real, and then he stops and hesitates and finally pulls off his gasmask and breathes in the clean air.

And then his trustworthy government really does try to gas him, with a cropdusting helicopter.
