No anti-Americanism is intended on my part here, but I do love this little speech. I agree with the main guy, the protagonist I suppose, that the American Mafia is vastly overrated.

He gets hijacked and killed by an IRA hitsquad immediately after his anti-American rant, though, so I suppose everybody's happy. The money might've come from Boston. Most likely the Mafia people were warned in advance.

Small but meaningful improvisations within the outline of the structure of the choreography; the most intense concentration on and response to her partner; offhandedly brilliant, near flawless technique, surpassing that of the far more experienced Ebson; limitless enthusiasm within her character driving the emotional center of this ebullient scene... the girl had it all.
