After all, the wet dreams of Republicans are just power and money. The horizon of their mental life runs from their mouth to their dicks. When Paul Ryan is the intellectual vanguard of your movement, there are no intellectuals in your posse. These are animals -- by necessity -- animals with very little agency, or even self-control. And they weren't doing a very good for their employers.
Now their employers can 1) clean house and try out new models, post-Tea Party and 2) get a lot done in the confusion & chaos.
Edit: I'm assuming it's already been mentioned twice, but again: Trump's first press conference in the White House, they played entrance music for him. It was surreal but telling.
