Well, I tried to register but it said the name was taken! Well, I think I was the one who took it. There may be an issue with the capital "E" but if this doesn't work, I guess I'll just stay unregistered. Sorry.

Well, I think that today has been my day to post things that confirm outside opinions that we are insane on this board. Evidently I never got all the way through the registration process. Sorry for the stupid posts.

Something happened to my registered status a few weeks ago. I didn't used to have to keep supplying my password and the "Re" subject, now I have to for every single post. Most of the time I don't bother. Not sure when it changed.

Hey Jeff, can you put a link to the blog on the front page of the board?

I've scanned a few of the prior posts - why should people be intimitated by a bit of poorly designed software that causes hassles and wastes a lot of time.

I love this site but the simple fact is that ezboard kills it. Time to fire the board IMO and if it refuses to leave, shoot it.

This board has been buggy all day, for me.

(Most notable weirdness- when I wrote the message following the pink and blue graphic in the "meme theory" discussion, The headline bar turned a wash of pink grading into blue while I typed in it. Just for a splitsecond- as a "singularity." )

More typically, it's been tough to sign on, I had to re-log-in (preventing un logged-in messages from further editing), and have difficulty accessing the page.

In my more whimsical moods, I read this interference as "somebody out there" prodding me to stop lingering on-line and get back to work. No luck tonight, you do-goodies...the alternator in my vehicle is kaput. I have a valid excuse.

( You should know that all you're doing with such "coy hints" is reinforcing my obstinacy, anyway. Okay, okay, sometimes it works as a prompt...MY decision, though.)

Other times, I read the problems with recieving the RI site and associated discussion as malign interfernence. I interpret malign interference like this: 1) Getting desperate, aren't you?; and 2) my, but there must really be something on this board worth paying srious attention to, or I wouldn't have to jump through so many hoops to read, lurk, and post here.

Hint for the unregistered: copy and save your text before you post, because if ezboard loc's up, you won't recover your message by jumping back and hitting "Refresh" or "F5."

Edited by: robertdreed at: 8/11/05 3:16 am

I've tried repeatedly to access the topic page on "Siskel, Weigel, Yale and brain tumors", and all I got was gibberish...I'm thinking that it's an omen, that I'm NOT going to get one for criticizing the government.

Hi thereL:

Just a quick question. I have a newsblog:

greencrow.iuplog.com/default.asp

That was getting on average about 15/20 hits a day since I set it up last February, which is okay by me. Over the past three weeks however, my hits shot up to around 200 a day! They all go on the same post about the Indictment of Bush article by Greg Szymanski that I copied from The Arctic Beacon. Sometimes I've had as many as 300 hits a day--all on that one post.

They've either googled to the link or they're linked from a new site called I believe 'blog.pin'. I am wondering what's this all about.

I have seen on 'Rubins' [techie website] that the 'Indictment' links are the most popular links googled lately. Why? Is because this unconfirmed rumour seems a bit of 'good news'? Even so, there is no real momentum behind the indictment story at the moment.

Not trusting Google at all...I have the feeling this story about the 'Indictment' was a plant to see who would pick it up and then all those sites were spammed with phony hits but will be targeted and shut down should the 'real indictment' story ever break.

..I know, I know, hopelessly paranoid. But this environment does that to folks.

Rove's brain must be working overtime on the indictment threat looming over him and the Cabal and he knows that the biggest part of that threat--should the indictment story ever break open--will come from the blogs.

Has anyone else had anything like this happen?

Regards

gc
