Wow.
I have hesitated to mention this, but on one of the previous rampages, I saw "Active Shooter" PSAs go up in my work environment the evening before a very high profile event occurred. It may be coincidence, but it definitely left an impression.

Given that one existing photo (and the repeated report that she weighed 90 lbs), she looks short enough that, from any distance, she could easily have been mistaken as a child.

Yes. Even if we allow for the sake of argument that there were only two shooters, there is still not one witness who has described the shooters as differing very noticeably from each other [on edit: or differing at all, even slightly] in height, shape or weight.

The Islamist Bonnie & ClydeThe height of bloody nonsense

And remember: there were 50-60 surviving witnesses in the room where the shooting took place.

The grandmother (the one who lived with them, the one now left to bring up their orphaned baby) could instantly say exactly what size and weight her daughter was, and her son-in-law.* So could any of their friends or family members. Or neighbours. Or fellow-worshippers at the mosque. Did even one reporter ever think to ask? Does the Pope ever shit in the woods?

So, for that matter, could the fucking FBI. But I bet all that info is now under lock-and-key, "for reasons of national security", just like Oswald's tax returns and the radar records of Dag Hammarskjöld's plane crash.

Google Image search results for tashfeen malik syed farook. Notice anything? Not one full-body photo of the couple. Not one.

What did the fine ladies and gentlemen of the press manage to find while they trampled through the house of the dead?

Image

*ON EDIT: Or it could have been her daughter-in-law and her son. Does anyone know. Does any hack anywhere give a shit one way or the other.

Family photos. Albumsful, still there. Even after the FBI had concluded their alleged "investigation". And the hacks didn't think of properly photographing (or just stealing*) a single one of them for the waiting world?

Maybe those photo albums are still there. Anyone in SoCal feel like taking a look? Seriously. Everyone and her dog has now visited the former Farook-Malik household. (I am beginning to feel left out.)

*Because, after all, the dead have no rights. Right?

Good question, Luther, and a very obvious one. You've thought to ask it, so (putting two and two together) I conclude that you are not a reporter.

Also: Where's that dentist or doctor they told the grandmother they had an appointment with? When will we hear from him?

The response by lawyers and law enforcement experts on CNN was one of shock as they believed potential evidence in the massacre - which has now been labelled a terrorist attack by the FBI - or leads to other suspects, may have been lost due to journalists being allowed into the apartment.

"I am still baffled," law enforcement analyst and retired New York detective Harry Houck told CNN. "That is part of the crime scene because this is where they lived. The first thing I noticed when I looked at this is this apartment was not dusted for (finger)prints. How do I know that? I don't see fingerprint dust all over the place.

"That's a big problem because how are we going to know if they were connected with some other co-conspirators if they were in that apartment at any time?

"I can't believe the FBI can make a mistake like this."

Nor can I. The FBI did not make any "mistake".

CNN just said "there is still so much we do not know, and that is a problem considering that this is the deadliest terror attack on U.S. soil since 911."

I'm thinking a bigger problem might be the fact that they botched this one so bad that it was obvious to a lot of people and it calls a lot of the previous incidents into question which might make the PTB feel a little bit nervous and desperate. I don't like the thought of those people feeling nervous and desperate because that could be a problem.

WATCH! - no, don't bother, because the title is a blatant and shameless lie (yet another one). Of course it is. It is merely the telly shouting at you, again, to admit you see something that isn't there. ADMIT! ADMIT!

The USA is not merely post-legal; it is post-real.

This is a test case, by the way. It sets an important precedent. If they can get away with this, then they will know for sure that they can get away with literally anything. Anyone anywhere in the USA -- including anyone on this board -- can be murdered with complete obviousness and with impunity, then blamed for anything whatsoever, including and especially mass murder.

At the very least, you had better check your skin colour carefully before leaving the house.

FNN: Extremely bizarre press conference Farook Family Attorneys / FOX 10 Phoenix

"Extremely bizarre". Sic.

Here is how FOX 10 Phoenix summarise that half-hour press conference, the TV recording of which was posted to YouTube only one day after the attack:
Federal investigators believe there is a "very serious" possibility that Tashfeen Malik, one of two shooters who murdered 14 people and wounded 21 others in San Bernardino, Calif. Wednesday, radicalized her husband and co-assailant, county restaurant inspector Syed Farook, Fox News has learned.
Did you get that? Instead of a summary of what the lawyers actually said, FOX 10 gives us a one-line reminder of what "Fox News has learned" that "Federal investigators believe".

Here are the first fifteen-or-so comments under that video (these are the top-rated comments, btw):

So the terrorist got teased about his beard so he went home , geared up , armed up , grabbed some bombs , got his hairy armpit wife , came back and opened up. Then they go home and start destroying electronic equipment. Yeah that sounds like an over sensitive man. Shame on those reporters for sitting there. They should have stood up and walked out on these two assclowns. Be on guard people til we get that mut Hussain Obama out of Washington.

Don't be surprised if you DON"T see these two making statements again. The FBI may have told them to pack up and go home, and to quit interfering with the investigation. They are way out of line for lawyers, just making sure the relatives get their rights. They spend four hours in the FBI office, questioning the FBI, yeah, right.

Might be "work related" because someone made fun of Farook's beard at work.... what did he say?So according to these lawyers I can build pipe bombs, buy 5000 rounds of ammo, convert my guns to fully automatic and learn to make IEDs if someone teases me. "The lady doth protest too much"

You don't have to be linked with a larger group, just be a supporter and like what the larger group does, and just be a couple with 6,000 bullets and bombs, leave your baby with her grandmother and go to a crowded room and start shooting. That's all it takes.

Hm. Could be what all the sloppiness was about. To see just who and how many would raise questions. And even though I saw people who normally wouldn't have swallowed this raise questions and go "WTF?" It sure ain't anything approaching a level of concern to the perps. Especially considering it seems nobody here at RI noticed this! (Although it just occurred to me that this is perhaps because I and those I know who have gone "WTF" live here in SoCal where it occurred. Sorta like most NYC'ers not believing the official story of 9/11)

Yeah. They can do whatever the fuck they want and tell us ANYTHING without even the tiniest of repercussions.

Isn't that sort of the very definition of a totalitarian state??

Well, it's certainly the very definition of a state where uppity lawyers would be well advised to drive carefully. And if those lawyers have any marital or financial indiscretions in their past, I would bet they have been reminded of those indiscretions, discreetly, sometime in the last ten days.
