I don't know, I'm no climatoligist, but I am guessing that you don't have to worry too much about an 'oil rain,' since oil doesn't evaporate at the same rate as water. However, that said, there hasn't been an oil spill of this magnitude in such a hurricaine-prone area before, afaik. But it does seem to me that the oil would be left behind in the water, much like salt gets left behind as seawater evaporates.ninakat wrote:
