I haven't been following this post since the derail into beer, and various other things but WTF? Why has Alice decided to leave? She was a major reason I joined. Please don't let these dinks run you off Alice.

It was apparently something that happened in the Gilad Atzmon thread. I stayed out of that thread from the beginning, so I missed it. One could go back and look it up, I suppose, but the whole thing got so ugly and nasty I personally don't really want to go study it.
The bruh-ha-ha seems to be continuing in the "all worship c2w" thread.

The censorship and political correctness is getting a little stifling around here.

I think it's a seasonal thing. It was pretty hard to say something that wouldn't piss somebody off from March to June last year, too.

Alice wrote that personal attacks drove her off and furthermore, she wasn't thrilled with the idea that everything she wrote would be attacked because she wrote it (a different fallacy that I can't remember the name of.)

I guess you didn't think much of C2W or believe her contributions here were very worthwhile. But lots of other people did.
