If the new youth voice appointed by MTV were a Swedish black metal band, I would absolutely be just as appalled. And, yes, looking back, it's probably not healthy for kids to grow up on the dark propaganda of even mainstream heavy metal, either. Such kids might not themselves mature into psychotic monsters, but they'll be so gradually deadened and blinded to deepening abnormality that they'll wind up letting their kids grow up on satanic mind control propaganda until one day, lo and behold, devil-worshipping cannibals are totally normal.
