I came off more dickish as I want to, sorry.

But seriously, SLAD, there will always be an Alex Jones contingent. What are you trying to achieve? You're irritating the chorus and the right-wing crowd just happily ignores you...

I talked to someone at a dinner party over the weekend who had lived in DC for a few years after college before moving on. Comet PP came up for non-PG reasons. Turned out she was casual friends with Alefantis and said he was a very "sweet" guy. She seemed like a reasonable person for whatever that is worth. Not to say one way or another how I expect a guilty party to present themselves publicly, but the feeling I got about him from what she said did seem to fit with the general impression I've gotten of him.

EDIT: That microwave video is beyond me. Doesn't the gleeful parody of Conway serve to deflect from or minimize the latest CIA revelations? Is it really so meaningful that she said "microwave" rather than "tv?" Various fact checkers say there are no (or very very few) microwaves with built-in cameras but surely there's nothing to laugh about wrt the surveillance militarization of household appliances, right?

Imagine if instead of pleasant conversation there were dark insinuations about torture and rape of innocent children occurring in the basement... She would have likely not have been so friendly, at all. Therein lies the fate of the credulous, more generally. When drinking from the poisoned well one tends to become poisonous, at least in a conventional social sense. Instead, it becomes much easier to find birds of a feather and go to a place where you may never come back...

omg...Conway is a frickin' liar and laughing at her is not only doable and I would say a necessity

she didn't "misspeak" ...don't you know what her job is?

that little vid is just a small laugh at an idiot and nothing more

a one minute song doesn't deflect anything for anyone that is paying attention ..it's just a little humor to deal with the insanity of trump

a one minute song in the sea of lies and deceit

What about the catholic international pedophile ring, is that a hoax too? No, its common knowledge to the extent that you can begin a joke, "so theres a catholic priest".....and you already know what the joke is about. They have made pedophilia socially acceptable, and with the right payoff, legal as well.
Thank you Simian1 for reminding me of some of what's so troubling to me about P.G., (this thread, the internet in general), and what seems to be an expanding dismissal and/or normalization of pedophilia and the exploitation of children. Any reverence that was left for the sanctity of childhood is disappearing fast.

Nothing personal SLAD. Of course, Conway is a clown. But the meme-ification of her words does seem to instruct us that only idiots or Trump clowns are worried about surveillance via the Internet of things IMHO.
“Is the CIA listening to me through my microwave oven, and through my TV, and through my cell phone,” asked late-night host Stephen Colbert of former CIA and NSA head Michael Hayden last week.

You may notice that this forum has expounded countless pixels in research of and attention to (and in some cases involve real-life organizing against) actual crimes of pedophilia. That is the reason why the unserious case in which the (non-survivor) accusers (because there are no survivor or victim accusers) are mostly likely just joking anyway is treated this way by some of the members.

Pizzagate "research" and "activism" taints the claims of real children and puts them in danger.

:wallhead: I expected this from you, L.B. and almost wrote in that expectation, but then thought nah, the assumption that children actively reveal their abuse isn't really continued that seriously.

I have definitely know people who would- completely uninvited- begin to rant and rave about far away incidents of abuse and torture, ad nauseum. Mostly people responded by being polite but looking towards the door.

To do so over this would be infinitely worse, given that the horrible murders and tortures didn't even happen.

Leaving aside the "pizza-attack as a salvo in the decades long culture war on art" angle, and the "weaponizing pedophilia for political gain" angle (both reasonable assumptions in my opinion,) what is the score so far?

On one side, we have the opinion that the pizza is undermining genuine research and exposure of abuse. On the other, those who dismiss the pizza are accused of making light of abuse. So everyone on the internet thinks no one is taking abuse and pedophilia seriously enough. That's our common ground. If only the debate wasn't so polarized, we'd be a united front. We're changing the world here, you know, like by like, click by click. Maybe we should all wear "I'm against pedophilia" pins and hats, really make a statement.

Is this by design? I doubt it. Most likely "pedo-trolls having a lark," that happened to balloon into an internet thing through no fault of their own, and here we are. Orchestrated? Not quite. Capitalize on trends, sure.

It all seems so hypocritical, though. Exploitation is the foundation of our corporate consumer culture. Foxconn still makes your electronic toys. Without human trafficking, and dirt-cheap labor, the system as we know it would collapse. We want that kinder, gentler exploitation. The kind that we can turn a blind eye to, just like mom and pop did.

How do you eradicate the exploitation of children in a society based on exploitation. It's like we're all going to hell, but we want to pretend that "at least we have our morals." Our standards seem pretty low.

Just ranting. Anyway, I'm done. Rant over. If this thread keeps bubbling to the surface of the front page, I'll probably rant again in a few months. Seems to be how this one goes with me.

Possible.

What you're saying is that you have absolute certainty?

So, when the CF was caught trafficking (twice) you can say with assurance that all those undocumented children who were bought and stolen, sorry I mean rescued, ahem, that they all made it home safely?

Can you please provide a link to a list of names of these children and their families so that this can be confirmed and people can stop having impure thoughts about this wonderful rescue organization?

(Dead children don't get to make accusations, and children with no documents are difficult to followup on)

Anything is possible but I don't know of any compelling evidence that proves the Pizzagate scenario is true. To require me to account for unidentified children who were maybe/possibly disposed of by nefarious illuminati in order to disprove their ritual murder is to pose an unfalsifiable claim, near as I can tell.
