Just a question out of curiosity, is this a joke, do you ghost write like this or just several mistakes because you can type super fast? Certainly no offense intended. Just a question.I wouldl like to know more about this though, just out of curisoity, I had not heard of this until now though I do not doubt your information at all, I appreciate all you have shared about Bernie, like I said before, these are things I need to know about that are not easily found on google searches and are coming from someone who lives in the state he represents.

LOL no offense taken 82, I usually am typing on the go on this iphone which I am still not used to, between auto correct and fat fingers things do not always come out right. Also this isnt my job, this is for fun, I have editors that take care of the little details.

But what would be funny would be to ghost write something and completely misspell everything and then submit. See what their reaction is and then respond "just kidding" and then resubmit.

Re: Bernie Sanders running for preznit?
I always toy away with joke ideas to put in my emails for work at the end of "serious" shit. Many could be made, but it would confuse all involved and then I would have to explain the joke and how it wasn't serious and I wanted to make you all laugh. So I refrain.

Hunter, what makes you think that anybody will ever actually get to vote for Colonel Sanders?
They'll make damn sure that never happens.
You will never get to actually vote for him.

Well, not in November 2016. Some may get to vote for Sanders in the primaries, but they will never let him get the nomination. Socialism ain't the 1950s boogeyman it used to be for most Americans; they know this and that's why he'll never be allowed to get close to winning.Nordic » Thu Jul 09, 2015 3:47 pm wrote:Hunter, what makes you think that anybody will ever actually get to vote for Colonel Sanders?

The delegates will do whatever they have to do. And that ain't gonna be give the nomination to Sanders.
If he was serious about running for President he wouldn't have that (D) after his name.

Delegates? You're more optimistic than I am, Nordic. I'm pretty certain it won't get that far. I foresee two possible fates for Sanders: Howard Dean or RFK. I'm optimistic they will Dean him.

Re: Bernie Sanders running for preznit?
I don't know, I'm actually starting to lose my cynicism and get caught up in the hope.
Having seen the momentum that Bernie has gained on ideologically diverse, demographically powerful platforms like Reddit and Facebook, as well as his ground-breaking exposure of the Koch brothers as the omnipotent source of All Bad Things, I have to admit: this might not be as grimly pointless as I thought.
For instance, there are some serious questions coming into play, such as "Will Bernie withdraw from the campaign as early as January, or as late as February?" and "Do states with majority non-white populations even know that Bernie Sanders exists?" It's going to be a very interesting campaign. Just fascinating.
However: Has anyone managed to win NH and Iowa primaries and not get the DNC nomination?

Anyone watching the trainwreck that is Netroots Nation 2015? Big Prog summer camp/training party. Martin O'Malley basically got barked off stage and they're screaming at Sanders right now. What a fucking beautiful mess. White Sanders activists recoiling in horror, Black Lives Matter operatives getting their hashtags in.
The Left, man. I pray for 'em, but perhaps not often enough.
Observation from activist David Atkins: "When you disrupt a marginalized group conversing with marginal candidates, you only marginalize yourself and everyone involved."
Dave Weigel: "This Sanders/#NN15 event is a fascinating clash between social democratic class politics and new left identity politics.
patrisse cullors: "We will shut down every debate."
Martin "I Just Ended My Campaign" O'Malley: "Black lives matter. White lives matter. All lives matter."

Re: Bernie Sanders running for preznit?
yes, why ISN'T bernnie sanders exercising his control over every halfwit cop in America? All he has to do is snap his fingers and they'd all fall in line.
The total inability to recognize and support allies renders all hope utterly pointless. If people WILL NOT recognize the need to make common cause with others, then it's completely hopeless. Mission accomplished, all possible opposition is sub divided into tiny little interests who just don't even get how anything could possibly work.
That said, try the same thing at any conservative function, they wouldn't get in the door, and IIRC not more than a few days ago some such protesters were escorted out at gunpoint at some such event.
Can't people even see the mentality that is the true enemy? That mentality is embodied on one political party who's adherents unfailing vote as a block, and so no meaningful effective opposition is possible unless WE do the fucking same.
It's pathetic if it weren't part and parcel with the now largely inevitable extinction of three thousand years of human culture and probably the species itself..
That said, it's abundantly clear that A SEGMENT of American Law Enforcement personnel are conducting race war EVERY DAY. Not a single days goes by that there aren't two or three new atrocities, and it doesn't always have to go all the way to murder to be an atrocity.
What needs to be done about it? Extensive psychological testing to identify bad-risks and remove them from any possible position of authority, in every police force in the nation.
What then are we going to do with a sizable chunk of the population that is filled with hatred and ready to use organized violence? I really don't see this going anywhere but civil guerrilla war. Which will result in likely the final destruction of anything resembling what America could have been, had we gone another direction in 1979.

Well, who isn't at Netroots Nation 2015?justdrew » Sat Jul 18, 2015 4:16 pm wrote:The total inability to recognize and support allies renders all hope utterly pointless. That would be the candidate that everyone at Netroots Nation 2015 will be voting for in 2016: Hillary Clinton.
You know...lesser of two evils. The system doesn't change. That is why we cynical assholes who grumble about the Hope of our family and friends always wind up being right. Which is less satisfying than it sounds.
Latest news is that Bernie Sanders cancelled all his appearances and meetings for the rest of the day. This is, frankly, a smarter move than his critics can admit, because right now, Martin O'Malley is still there, still engaging, apologizing, groveling, and they're just eviscerating him for it. There's no way for a candidate to win this game, but that is by design: there's no way for activists to win it, either.

as for Inevitahillary, what can you expect but a very broad candidate? Losing the election is not an option, so whoever stand the best chance of winning, but a large enough margin to defeat the election thieving, will get the nomination, that doesn't make other candidates irrelevant. Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the better-than-the-alternative. You can't expect something to come out of nowhere, it's only able to come from knowwhere, and it's going to take time to shift the national zeitgeist into a "getting shit done" and making some real changes mood, but the potential IS exists, baby steps as needed.
