Ok that's kind of what I figured. Thanks.

They did something to adjust her voice though. It wasn't just slowed down. Back when I was making short films we used to have tons of fun by recording stuff on a Nagra then playing it back slowly. A little tiny dog growling, for example, would like like a freaking dragon when played back slowly.

So they kept her voice relatively normal in pitch while slowing it down. Ain't digital great?

Clinton is doing press conferences at factories with actors wearing factory uniforms while the real workers stand outside with protestors...

Interesting.

It can be done using multi-track recording software that can be downloaded for free. Change tempo (without changing pitch), change pitch (without changing tempo), and change speed are effects in a drop down menu.

The Sanders Effect that most of us feared. Big surprise from the candidate who did a world tour to promote methane pollution on the most massive scale.
Guardian: Hillary Clinton has stopped talking about Climate Change

Hillary Clinton has dropped the words “climate change” from most of her public addresses since winning the endorsement of her party rival Bernie Sanders, according to Climate Home analysis.

While the presidential candidate talks regularly about her plan for the US to become a “clean energy superpower”, in recent months she has rarely made reference to the planetary crisis that necessitates it. […]

Research from Yale released in July indicates that even during the hottest year ever recorded, only the 17% of voters who describe themselves as “alarmed” about climate change rank it as a top tier election issue.

I heard about this first hand from an American friend, so I don't have a link, sorry

He said the local paper covered it and he was there to see the workers protesting outside. Of course nobody local was allowed into the event who hadn't been vetted by the campaign

A few days ago I went to see a concert by Palestinian musicians at a local venue. It was packed. The music was great. And it ended with a standing ovation. The music was introduced with an introduction that talked about the occupation too. I thought to myself that people do care. People do want the killings and apartheid to stop in Palestine. Then I realized that many of the people in the audience are most likely Hilary Clinton supporters. Clinton is firmly with the neocon agenda of dominating the Middle East with violence and economic threat. Israel plays a major role in it and there is no hope for Palestinian people on such a trajectory. Of course, it won't be any different with Trump presidency according to what he says. Electoral process in the US is a highly sophisticated tool to herd good people with good intentions into imperial framework of nefarious schemes. The issue of Palestine is just an example among many issues of corporatism, colonialism and militarism pursued by Democrats as well as Republicans. I would like to ask my friends to consider what it does and hear those who are working to break away from the two party monopoly in guiding the national agenda.

probably AFL-CIO ..they want the Oil Pipeline
AFL-CIO’s Lust for Oil Pipeline Jobs
September 19, 2016

Despite the existential risk from global warming, short-term self-interest often wins out, whether opposition to the cost of building mass transit or readiness to put oil-industry jobs over the danger from fossil fuels, as Norman Solomon explains.

By Norman Solomon

At a meeting with the deputy political director of the AFL-CIO during my campaign for Congress, she looked across her desk and told me that I could get major union support by coming out in favor of the Keystone XL oil pipeline.

That was five years ago. Since then, the nation’s biggest labor federation has continued to serve the fossil fuel industry. Call it union leadership for a dead planet.

AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka visiting "Occupy Wall Street"
AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka visiting “Occupy Wall Street”
Last week, the AFL-CIO put out a statement from its president, Richard Trumka, under the headline “Dakota Access Pipeline Provides High-Quality Jobs.” The rhetoric was standard flackery for energy conglomerates, declaring “it is fundamentally unfair to hold union members’ livelihoods and their families’ financial security hostage to endless delay.”

The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe is steadfast against the Dakota Access pipeline: “We will not rest until our lands, people, waters, and sacred sites are permanently protected from this destructive pipeline.”

In sharp contrast to the AFL-CIO’s top echelon, some unions really want to restrain climate change and are now vocally opposing the Dakota pipeline. Communications Workers of America has expressed solidarity with members of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe “as they fight to protect their community, their land and their water supply.”

At National Nurses United, Co-President Jean Ross cites “an obligation to step up climate action to protect public health and the future for the generations to follow us.”

Ross said: “We commend the leaders and members of the Standing Rock Sioux, the many First Nation allies who have joined them, and the environmentalists and other supporters who have participated in the protests against the Dakota Access pipeline.”

NNU points out that “the proposed 1,172-mile pipeline would carry nearly a half million barrels of dirty crude oil every day across four states.” Ross says that such projects “pose a continual threat to public health from the extraction process through the transport to the refinery.”

As for the AFL-CIO’s support for the pipeline, NNU’s director of environmental health and social justice was blunt. “We’re deeply disappointed in our labor federation siding with those that would endanger and harm the land, the water, the lives of the people along the pipeline path and the health of the planet itself in the name of profits,” Fernando Losada said.

He added that the Dakota pipeline is part of “a drive to extract fossil fuel that is untenable for the future of the planet.”

The nurses union is part of the AFL-CIO, but dominant forces within the federation are committed to corporate energy priorities. Losada said that “some elements in the AFL-CIO” have caused a stance that “is a narrow position in the alleged interests of their members for some short-term jobs.”

Compare that narrow position to a recent statement from Communications Workers of America: “The labor movement is rooted in the simple and powerful idea of solidarity with all struggles for dignity, justice and respect. CWA will continue to fight against the interests of the 1% and corporate greed and firmly stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe against the environmental and cultural degradation of their community.”

A venerable labor song has a question for the leaders of the AFL-CIO: Which side are you on? When it comes to planetary survival, the answer from the top of the AFL-CIO hierarchy remains: We’re on the wrong side.

I still believe there may only be a 50/50 chance that we will have a normal election as scheduled. I think there is room for a problem of some sort to arise that would stall or prevent it.

I have been seeing pictures of this floating around but I didn't post them because pictures are so easy to photoshop. This is the first video I have seen. She was wearing those thick Fresnel lens looking glasses for a while to correct her eyes. These videos appear to show that her eyes are not tracking in unison and moving independently of one another.

First one is slowed down. Second vid is original speed. It is hard to see in the original speed because the eye movements are rapid but if you look closely enough you can see it.

I have not seen any confirmation that those threads were genuine. If they were this IT guy was not very bright taking his tech problems to reddit.

House Oversight Committee Orders Reddit To Preserve "Oh Shit" Guy's Posts

Sep 21, 2016 10:30 PM

The House Oversight Committee, chaired by Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah), has issued a preservation order to Reddit related to all threads posted by Hillary's tech guy from Platte River Networks, Paul Combetta (aka the "Oh Shit" guy). The preservation order comes just days after a political researcher exposed a Reddit thread from July 2014 in which Combetta sought tech advice on how to "strip out a VIP's (VERY VIP) email address from a bunch of archived emails" (all of the details can be found in our previous post here: "Dear FBI, This Is Intent: Hillary's "Oh Shit" Guy Sought Reddit Advice On How To 'Strip VIP's Emails'").

In comments to The Hill, Chaffetz confirmed that the House Oversight Committee is pursuing the new Reddit discovery "with vigor" but noted that precautions were required to "verify the authenticity" of Combetta's posts. Meanwhile, Chaffetz did confirm that Reddit is "cooperating" with the preservation order.
