Really now, justdrew, let's take our new member at face value for the nonce. I see no reason for suspicion.

Now, now, I've accused you of nothing but justice-seeking.

So, do you consider the lady unfairly met, or not?

Are you sincerely pretending to be ignorant of the fact of something called FORUM LURKERS, Cuda?

Do you really find it that difficult to believe that a long time lurker (they exist, ask Jeff) might find your sanctimony and slimy self-satisfied smugness offensive enough to drop the dime, sign up, and have their vote be counted?

I am frankly shocked that there haven't been dozens more new people joining just to vote. In fact, I suggest it is a measure of the board's general moribundity that there hasn't been more lurkers joining to participate.

It really has become an insular circle-jerk.

Your naïveté is charming, my old pal. Is it genuine?

Not that you care, barracuda, my ol' pal, but this toast is to the guy on this forum who has managed to disappear more posters through the years by way of bullying and intimidation than anyone else, ever. Put another couple of notches in your mouse, big guy.

After yesterday and today, seeing how you operate, I have no desire to read another word you have to contribute.

Consider yourself ignored.

Totally.

I don't use a mouse. I do it all with my mind.

I'm sorry if you valued rollingstone enough to put me on ignore, or more of an ignore than you already had me on. It never seemed you were all that responsive to conversation with me in the first place.

The decision regarding Canadian_watcher had nothing to do with me, really. We didn't get along all that well, but her fate here was of her own making.

In any case, I never use the ignore function. I tried it out once and found I could still see usernames, could easily click to see their posts, and their comments might be quoted or responded to by other posters I was reading in the thread anyway, so it wasn't much of an escape. I wish you better luck with it than I had. Poor design coupled with too much curiosity. I couldn't see the point.

A toast to .... to... eh... Fuck it.

Where'd I put that stake? And has anyone seen the axe and the gasoline?
