This is the type of thread (I think) belongs in The Lounge. It is found on many forums and in each is used as an excuse to conversate. G.D. (I think) should be clear and not have important posts and topics compete with this kind of uselessness.

Do we really want the "last post wins", "where do you work?", and "post pictures of your pets!" threads competeing forever against real schtick like, "Georgian and Polish president shot at" and "the esoteric meaning of love" such threads?

This isn't even on par with the 'post pics and vids thread' as they are a sign of the times journal. A zeitgeist.

Would admin/mods move this thread to lounge?
