There's a movie just out about RFK and a pre-emptive internet disinformation campaign is underway as you probably realized when you posted your disinfo-debunking essay on 1/18/05 called 'Is Nemesis a Black Book?' Now a discrediting event with the keyword 'PROBE' has just been generated to mask your important investigative work and it is being inserted onto the internet by disinfo websites. The renewed RFK disinformation campaign is no doubt due to Emilio Estevez having made a movie about RFK's murder called 'Bobby' starring Sharon Stone and Anthony Hopkins. Hopkins was in 'Nixon' and no doubt Operation Mockingbird reviews will mention this while taking another opportunistic swipe at Oliver Stone's 'JFK.' (This is the problem with addressing history with fiction. Example: A film called 'The Paperclip Project' was generated and marketed to US schools as an 'educational package' to pre-empt American kids' awareness of the US rescuing Nazis during 'Project Paperclip' plus the highly-damning Bush-Nazi connection. This interview with LA coroner Thomas Noguchi has some interesting comments about how to analyze a crime. The deceased is speaking to you through forensic evidence that is glaring at you. But few recognize it. OMNI Your style seems to balance an Eastern receptivity with American assertiveness. Noguchi I try to reconcile them. Part of the unique combination, perhaps, comes from my Buddhist upbringing. In Japan death is very close and friendly. It's common for the family to have a miniature temple in the living room, where the children are expected to greet deceased grandparents by reporting the day's activities. Just before examination, although most of my staff doesn't notice it, I take a very short moment to respect the deceased. "Let the deceased speak for himself" is one of my favorite expressions. I repeat it to resident pathologists. I listen, not just look -- listen deeply. Bits of evidence are like words. By putting the evidence together you compose a sentence. The series of sentences becomes the statement of the deceased -- the deceased is the best witness. Forensic investigation is like moviemaking but in reverse. We arrive just after the last scene of the cowboy movie -- after the cowboys have been surrounded by the American Indians. Did the Union soldiers come to the rescue or not? From the available evidence -- fragments of the last scene of the fighting -- we try to make each frame, then the one before, and finally the whole movie. We kind of roll the projector backward -- to the title. <hr></blockquote>

I've never said that military and intel don't muck around in popular culture. Please don't put words in my mouth. I do not buy HMW's metaconspiracy, and I find his examples of keyword hijacking to be harebrained. But I would not deny involvement of intel in popular culture -- where there is evidence that is has happened/is happening. You nailed my problems with HMW, though -- he points out good material, but it gets lost when he applies it to his grand conspiracy theory. I like much of what he posts -- the raw material. It's his stubborn need to wrap everything in his bigger, delusional framework that dilutes the good material.
