A dialectic of facts and evidence. Rather than a dialectic of machismo and umbrage. Can we not drive this thread into the Fire Pit? Can we also discuss this improbable but still technically possible scenario? If there is any legitimate reason to suspect crisis-acting, let that be explored, rationally. If it turns out there is none, let it be contradicted, rationally.

First of all, I very rationally and somewhat dispassionately dissected McGowan's assertions down on page six, and they turned out to be nothing but bullshit. Those persons who favor the crisis actor theory, Canadian Watcher, conniption, et al, did what they always do, they ignored the gaping holes and complete misrepresentations of fact I pointed out and moved on to some new, equally ridiculous false data set to ponder, pretending nothing had been said about their hero's malarky. So it can go on like this indefinitely.

Secondly, if you wanna explore the idea, what is your methodology for doing so? Because looking cockeyed at a blurry snapshot you found on the interwebs and repeating the same fuzzy thinking that was present when the image was first presented as "evidence of a conspiracy" is fucking nonsense. Questions and statements such as:

Canadian_watcher wrote:And how is C Williams so clean in the photo? and why does the black girl look to be in pretty much the exact same state as she was in the earlier photos, but Williams is like, chillin'?

and this:

dbcooper41 wrote:i gotta ask, what is the guy in the grey hoodie doing to jeff b's leg in the attached pic?
it looks to me like he's rolling on, or perhaps rolling off, a stocking.

and this:

dbcooper41 wrote:what's up with the guy running away with his pants torn to shreds and no apparent injury, as well as the guy with his pants torn away who seems to hurl himself on the ground.

...and so on, are nothing. No methodology, no attempt to look beyond the infinitesimal fraction of a second of the shutter click, complete thought-stopping wastes of time.

FourthBase wrote:Myself, a minuscule fraction of my curiosity is now piqued by the art direction career of Christian Williams.

Why? Are art directors now suspicious? When did art direction become a suspicious activity?

FourthBase wrote:Also, yeah, he does kind of seem a little nonchalant. I'm aware that all sorts of people react to trauma in all sorts of ways. I'm also a person who, learning from the pictures of Umbrella Man and Dark-Complected Man just...you know, chilling, on the sidewalk...tends to look at nonchalance with a presumptively suspicious eye. But, maybe there's a totally explicable reason.

And explicable reason for what? For the fact that in a moment captured at one one-hundreth of a second his posture seems to remind you of something? Do you listen to recordings of people speaking or singing backwards? Because that's the territory we're entering now.

Without a methodology for analyzing this shit, you're better off reading entrails.

I'm not lying. Just confused.

I have no idea how to parse this sentence:

seriously my moderator (and thanks for visually suggesting you and others band together and fucking shoot me, by the way. some moderator we've got on our hands, wtf was THAT?? IanEye has already threatened physical harm and you're egging him on?)

Can you reformat that, because it reads like, well, like I'm suggesting that I and others band together and fucking shoot you. That's not a sentiment I believe I have ever expressed, here or elsewhere. So, I'm confused.

I'm disappointed that you'd take a Dirty Harry clip as a threat, especially coming from an artist who posts lots of music videos and is clearly harmless, but if you want to, cool. That was a threat. You haven't complained. More to the point, I haven't egged him on.

I don't want to sound like more of a dick than I actually am, but I would really appreciate it if you could format your thoughts into coherent sentences prior to making accusations about me, or much else, really.

No, the lovely little world in which I watch people like yourself, who claim to be the grown-ups, avoid any responsibility for their glib pronouncements of culpability upon people they have no interest in, no compassion or empathy for and about whom they have nothing valuable to relate. The world of narcissistic suburban Toronto housewives cum internet detectives.

BTW, what questions am I avoiding here? I'm actually still waiting on this one:

I clicked lots of them. I saw art direction of advertising campaigns. Maybe you can point me to one of his "effects" projects that has some bearing on the fakery you claim.

I didn't realize they were directed at me. But for the record, yes, I did.

I kind of enjoyed it when you ignored me. I had a few conversations here that weren't marred by your self-conceits and flighty, medicated absurdities.

I don't know if this is going to show up how I see it on my screen, but on my screen I only see the words and then a little icon indicating that ther ought to be a picture there, but none is showing up. "Great!" I think to myself upon seeing this post. "Wombat is actually moderating, and objecting to me being told that I'm a shill and to fuck off."

So time and posts go by and later on I see this:

(leaving out the analysis of Dirty Harry as a film here)

so it's spooky to me. It's spooky not as in CIA spooky but as in 'am I actually being threatened with a gun?' spooky Because I know you're all far away and shit but to me it is not cool at all to be mad at someone and post a picture of someone aiming a gun in their general direction. It sorta says lynch mob ... call me crazy. So that's where that's coming from. I do hope I've made myself clear and that you understand it now.

Sorry for the confusion, but I still don't know what the image is that you tried to post and that ianeye "punch in the face" "fuck you" was riffing off of, but it didn't look good.

these are legit questions. particularly concerning grey hoodie guy, aka chris williams according to others.
why after applying a tourniquet as someone suggested would he release it and lie back chilling, leaving jeef b to die.
look at his face. he has no concern for the legless man next to him. he leaves that to the cowboy hat hero.

does any one else have an answer as to what chris williams was doing to jeff b's leg?

Hey c2w - have you anything to say about the dehumanizing currently in progress with an actual person that you know, or are you just going to sit there and pretend it isn't happening?

I have way too much empathy, barracuda, but it doesn't extend to bullies whatsoever. That's where you're going to feel like I don't care about what happens to you, and because you believe you are the center of the universe, you're going to interpret that as my not caring about anyone. That's not the case at all, but only non-robot non-narcissistic sociopaths will be able to tell. You can't tell because all you know is that I think you are a repulsive, manipulative, vindictive, self-aggrandizing liar so you can't imagine that I might be able to care for people who aren't like that. But I do. I deeply, deeply do care.

so yeah, since we're allowed to say fuck you and point video guns at people for the moment, consider yourself aimed at and fucked. Lover.

Somehow I'm not really feeling the grand sense of empathy and deep depth of feeling for the victims in Boston radiating like the sun from your womb. But maybe I missed that part of your spiel.

I don't really take any gun threats seriously online, please bear in mind I am a rapper and young man to boot, and having the mouth I do, there's just so much jaw-flappery about these people and their gun threats I can't even.

FWIW, I took Ian's point to be about walking away from the situation, because I watched the video and read the rest of his post and took it as more than a screenshot, but uh....yeah, it's quite a screenshot.

That's why it's been every movie poster since, right?

When things get reported, mod signals get activated on Jeff's roof. Otherwise I let most things slide, "Fuck off." being an exception. Surely we can at least avoid outright ANGYR TXTING our way to another page of posts.

Part of empathy is weighing the benefit versus the cost to people. I think that if this is a faked event - even partly - that it is a greater service to prove that than it is to erroneously 'protect' victims who won't even know that I'm questioning them, and if they do who could easily, neatly and completely defend themselves and get a full and complete apology from me and likely anyone else interested in this topic.

It's like an empathy scale of justice.

I'm not the one asking those questions, because I don't go on those kinds of moronic fishing expeditions to crowd-source the conspiracy rorschach. You might get any of thousands of possible answers to the questions, but realistically, if you want to know, you'd better talk to an eyewitness - Williams himself would be best, though even he might not know (he was blowed up) - or carefully place each photo of the scene in consecutive time sequence, oriented spatially via camera points-of-view and try to see it as clearly as possible.

The questions themselves only exist because they've been repeated by morons across the internet thousands of times, so many time that they no longer have any re;lationship to what happened there, and only make sense if your initial premise is that Christian Williams was involved in performing some nefarious, complicit action while laying on the ground. I do not accept that initial premise. It is a dehumanizing and pathetic place to proceed from without a significant amount of evidence that something he did was actually wrong in the first place. And where is that initial evidence of wrongdoing? Nowhere to be found.

But if you want to see how I analyze those certain types of related issues, review my post on page five.
